We booked 1 night package including breakfast and dinner. Everything was perfect. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with wide selection and tasty coffee.
We didn't want to leave. It is such a charming place!

We stayed here for one night to visit the historic town of Osuna. The town is beautifully preserved and the hotel is equally impressive. It is a very grand Spanish 'palacio' situated in the centre of the historic centre surrounded by other grand buildings. Rooms are situated around a very grand internal central courtyard. Our room was in the attic and you should be aware that the lift does not extend to this floor. This was a fairly large room with open beamed roof and a lovely large bathroom, but no outlook, with small high windows. I suspect the rooms in the lower floors are more grand, but for one night this was fine. The breakfast was very good, with a typical continental buffet, but also the opportunity to order a cooked breakfast from the kitchen. Parking in the narrow street is a bit difficult, so we opted for the hotel parking at 10 Euros, but this turned out to be on a demolition site some distance away. If we had tried a bit harder, we would probably have found a more convenient space on the street.

Room Tip: try to avoid attic rooms, especially if you need the lift

The Hotel Palacio Marques de la Gomera in Osuna is a terrific hotel. We stayed there for one night in late December and it was a stay of comfort in a grandiose setting.

Check-in and welcome was warm and efficient. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything functioned well in the bathroom and the wi-fi signal and ease of access very straightforward. Didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but we did have breakfast: Not sure what the problem has been for a few writers on here with regard to breakfast. We were left very contented - great coffee, juices, water, pastries, toast etc. It was very typically Andalucian and good quality at that.

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel and the town of Osuna for travellers.

Room Tip: No hotel parking but plenty in the nearby streets.

This fine small hotel, a one time aristocratic residence, is located on a Calle San Pedro a thoroughfare, lined with similiar mansions, in Osuna said to be the most beautiful historical small town in Andalucia.

We had some difficulty finding the hotel as it was Christmas eve in a small Spanish town complete with the proverbial one-way system. The hotel was eventually reached on foot and the hotel management immediately dispatched a porter to locate our vehicle and bring it to the hotel. Fantastic service.
We came expecting a palace and were not disappointed: the place is remarkable.
Beautiful large suite, complete with balcony: fine dinning: quiet elegant service

A memorable Christmas. A classis Spanish experience. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We had a suite but all the rooms look to be 'palace' like!

We booked a one night stay here as part of a touring holiday in Andalucia. We imagined it was going to be a quiet evening in a lovely old Palacio and were really looking forward to our stay there. However ... we arrived to find a large, noisy wedding party had taken over the entire ground floor and that the kitchen would not be cooking for any other guests that night (we had planned on eating there). We went up to our room which was large with a large (if slightly antiquated) bathroom and which turned out to be just above the marquee that the wedding party would also be using after the meal and from which the 'music' was so loud we might just as well have been in the marquee itself. Feeling somewhat dismayed by our situation we set about finding somewhere to eat. Unfortunately, there is a dearth of restaurants in Osuna and we eventually had take away pizza sitting in a small park in the middle of the town. We walked the streets, or rather repeatedly walked the same few streets (the centre of Osuna is quite small) for a long time, but eventually returned to our room having been told by reception that the music would finish at 11.30pm We stopped looking at the clock after midnight but the noise certainly went on well after that time. So, nowhere downstairs to sit, no food, lots of noise and not much sleep - we couldn't wait to leave the next morning. The receptionist asked if we had enjoyed our stay to which we answered 'no' and explained why and pointed out that we would not have booked to stay there if we had known that there was going to be a noisy wedding party there - but they still took our money.

Certainly a fun place to stay and Osuna makes a good stop. Price/quality ratio is good, rooms are nice and the bar is attractive. The chapel at one side of the central courtyard is quite something. However it does feel that it needs a little bit of TLC (tender loving care) to maximise the possibilities of a fabulous building. Did not have the breakfast issue of the previous reviewer - breakfast in Spanish hotels is not normally a highlight anyway - but this was fine, with local ham and cheese etc.

We stayed here just one night when going from Sevilla to Cordoba. I was very excited to stay here because it looked so beautifull on pictures. It is indeed a charming and nice hotel but that's it.

When arriving the lady that was behind the reception was not very welcoming. Quite cold and business-like welcome. My partner has acid reflux problems and therefore needs to sleep on an inclined bed. When booking this was mentionned and the day before arrivel we sent an e-mail explaining more, including pictures on how to elevate the bed. All explained in Spanish. When entering the room at around 10 pm we noticed nothing was inclined. My partner went down to the reception to tell them he needed an inclined bed. They said they had put extra pillows but for someone with acid reflux that just doesn't work; it even makes it worse. So my partner came back to the room with a pile of telephone books to do it himself and had to run back to get more. Later we noticed that the second message with the picture had bounced back to our e-mail so they never received it. However it was sent to the correct e-mail address.

The room was nice and clean with a big bathroom but by far not as nice as some of the other rooms I had seen on pictures.

Breakfast is served at 8 am which I guess is ok. However we wanted to leave early to make the most of our 1-day visit to Cordoba. So in the evening I asked if it was possible to have the breakfast a little bit earlier. The answer was no.
So when the next morning we were there at 8 am we decided to eat fast and go. However things were just starting to be put on the buffet at around 8 am. The breakfast itself was highly disappointing and not worthy of a 4-star hotel. Everything was pre-packed and dry. In one word: horrible.

Do also practise some Spanish because they don't speak English at the reception. At least not during the short time we were there.

We were intending to come back on our last day to then drive to Sevilla. I'm happy i didn't book our last day in advance. Imagine to have to eat that breakfast again... .
