“Few days in Brighton”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We stayed for four nights and, as usual with Premier Inn, you get what is advertised - a good sleep in a comfy, clean room. The restaurant was a Beefeater and the breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Dinner was also good but rather slow as it was open to everyone not just the hotel guests. I did think the location was a bit odd as it was on an industrial estate but it was easy enough to get back to the main road and the car park was huge. It is impossible to open any windows and this was a drawback for my wife who has asthma and likes some fresh air but that was about the only downside.

This hotel is I think three years old, but the rooms and common areas still have that "new" feel to them. Great breakfast, not experienced the Premier "break-feast" as they call it before, but whatever you want in whatever quantity; our son loved being able to order as many eggs and hash browns as he wanted!.
Have only given 4 and not 5 stars as prefer to be able to open a window for fresh air, rather than rely solely on air conditioning; think it more healthy to sleep with an open window - but that might be just me. Great shower in the bathroom which was perfect after a day walking along the South Downs.
Staff very friendly and helpful too. Superb mattress, was asleep in minutes, which is unusual for me.

Room Tip: Is located on the edge of a small business estate, but do not let this put you off, no noise / hassl...

We were travelling to Hove daily to watch cricket and thought this would be a good stopping point for travel to Hove and Brighton.Hotel was fine with smart well presented room and very nice breakfast. not a huge choice of things for the continental but cooked was excellent.
Hotel is rather remote on an industrial estate and around 1,25 miles from the town centre and station. There is an infrequent bus service only.
As we are quite fit this wasn't a problem but not ideal for elderly or families if you want to use public transport.Fine if you are happy to travel around by car.Free car park is an excellent feature.

Stayed here for 6 nights whilst travelling for work to the Royal Horse show at Hickstead.
Hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.
The restaurant attatched is a Beefeater which has a large restaurant. outside seating and a section in the bar for food too. I particularly liked this area as a female travelling alone as I felt comfortable sitting in a nice ittle corner!
The hotel has a large tesco nearby which is very useful but other than that the hotel is just on an industrial estate so no attractive views!
Free parking with plenty of spaces.
Upon arriving home I realised that I had left some items in my room. Michelle on reception was so helpful and had located my items and telephoned me back within 30 minutes. They are posting my items back to me.
Customer service of this level will ensure our company use Premier Inn again.
Thanks to all the staff at Burgess Hill for a very pleasant stay.

I suppose I was a bit sceptical about Premier Inns, had seen the adverts but didn't think all that was said was true. But it is!! From walking into the reception area, the friendly helpful greeting and our quick check in everything went so smoothly. Our room was spotless, nice bed linen and towels, even a choice of pillows and plenty of teas and coffees. For the money we paid it could not be faulted and I would definitely not hesitate to book again. There was a Beefeater restaurant attached to the hotel, that too was excellent, we took our grandchildren and breakfast was free for them, again spotless and an excellent breakfast. Next time I will believe the advert!

Room clean but dinner experience was terrible.
Congealed piece of vinegar came out of jar which resembled a worm.
Disgusting and proof that the condiments are dirty.
Menu very limited and no atmosphere.

Had a good 4 night stay at this hotel with 10 family members, all the staff were lovely and although it is in the middle of an industrial estate it is very pleasant with trees to the back of the hotel and very quiet
