“A memorable and delicious meal”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We had the degustation menu, accompanied by a fine bottle of Champagne as this was our long planned French blowout spend. It was worth every penny. The delicate tastes in the trio of beetroot dishes were sensational. Pleasant surrounds, attentive service and delicious food all made for a fabulous experience.

“A special treat”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Good value for quality (and quantity) of food. You can choose menu with 2 courses €53 or 3 €63, but both come with cheese + dessert + petit fours. So unless you are really hungry, 2 is plenty!
No English menu or translation and we had to be saved from ordering sweetbreads and kidney!

“Excellent food and service!”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

The food and service was outstanding! I went to this restaurant with my wife and parents and had a superlative time. We ordered the 2 course meal which is actually 7 courses by the time your done! We ate for 3 and a half hours and had a great time. Bring your appetite and Bon appetit!

“Bravo!”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

This restaurant is perched on the high bank of the Marne valley, and has panoramic views from its cozy dining room.

The quintessential french meal of many courses is far from ordinary at this highly regarded restaurant. From amuse bouche to cappuccino, everything was superlative, and I wouldn't want to spoil it for you by giving away the details. This is a dining experience for the ages.

“Excellent service and cuisine”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

I had dinner with my husband, mother and sister this August and was pleasantly surprised. We selected it from the Michelin guide (it has one star) but didn't know anyone else who had been. The location isn't ideal, it's a bit lost out in the countryside, but it was definitely worth the drive. We all had one of the fixed-price menus, and each of the dishes was well-prepared and presented. Special mention goes to the prawns with polenta! Generous cheese trolley and extensive wine list with a large selection to suit every price point. Service was attentive, and--unusual for a high-end French restaurant--very friendly. We brought our one-month-old baby and were not made to feel in the least unwelcome (though she's a very quiet baby so there were some that didn't even realise she was there until they almost stepped on her carrier!). We would definitely go back.
