I arrived by taxi at the estimated time and Daniel greeted me in the parking area. He welcomed me then (I was travelling alone, Senior,) and I continued to feel welcomed for two more days and nights. Everything said in previous reviews is TRUE! You will love the cabinas: roomy, mucho personality, spotlessly clean and the large bathroom has a nice hot shower. The gardens are immaculate with beautiful plantings and shrubs.. The dining area is cozy, charming , fresh, and magical with huge glass windows opening up to the garden where you watch beautiful birds coming into the feeding station. And, yes, the breakfast is delicious and served in an elegant way. Kudos to Dominique who makes all the tasty breads and jams. Daniel was so helpful in directing my plans. I love birding and walking the trails around Sueno Celeste where I saw lots of species for the area. This is the best value, friendliest lodge you could possibly find, anywhere. And, if you enjoy birds, ask Daniel to direct you to the Cattle Egret Rookery. If you are going to BiJagua, STAY HERE!

We stayed here for 2 nights and have only positive comments for the cabinas and the hosts Daniel and Dominique. They provided unsolicited advice on places to visit in the area, local restaurants and maps to get there. The breakfast included with the room was excellent, all home-made ingredients, and was served with a great view of their bird feeder. The cabinas were spotless and nicely decorated, offering private entraces, refrigerators and patios. Great place and great hosts!

We agree with all the many positive comments praising Daniel and Dominique. Our stay in November was terrific. The hosts were one of the main reasons why we chose Sueno Celeste from all the other options in Bijagua. We were looking for a place which offered nice accommodations, and cabins with some privacy. But what made us choose Sueno Celeste was that we wanted some helpful guidance to get the most out of our 3 nights in this area. We were not disappointed. We encourage any traveler to look at all the many, many reviews which have said the same thing.... these hosts go out of their way to be helpful and kind.

Couldn't be happier with the stay here. The room was well kept and had beautiful views of the nearby valleys. One of the only places I stayed with a fridge which was nice. The breakfast was also very good. I recommend highly, thanks Daniel & Dominique for your hospitality!

The experience we had here was amazing. The owners are very welcoming and Daniel is an encyclopedia of information on the area whether it is for food, activities, or unmarked roads on a map. He knows the kilometers from his property to roads and attractions that aren't marked so you can easily find your way around. Our room was clean and spacious and the breakfasts were so amazing! Everything was homemade including the bread, muffins, and jam. They have a stand with fruit scraps setup outside the breakfast area for bird watching, we got some amazing shots of all kinds of beautiful birds. There is a pool at the property which we did not use, a friendly dog and cat are on site as well. We found a brown fuzzy spider one night and a scorpion in our shower another day but that is expected when in the jungle. We absolutely loved our stay and the owners were so helpful with all of out needs and questions. They have put a lot of work into the landscaping and the architecture of the rooms. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed over Christmas and had a really good time! The bungalow was one of the nicest rooms we have seen in CR. It felt like being in a five star hotel! Breakfast was great, especially because the owners have a clever way to watch birds right in front of you. The breakfast itself is also highly recommendable and of high quality! Most of all and what is always very important to us, the hosts were very friendly yet unintrusive people. Visit the park nearby, it's beautiful and yet not that crowded.

We were surprised by the kind and warm welcome at Sueno Celeste. Daniel and his wife have created a little paradise on earth! Daniel gave us a deep briefing about the place, the national park and many other interesting activities. He and his wife Dominique are very helpful, no wish has been left out. The breakfast is superb with homemade bread etc, including a splendid birdwatching from every table in the breakfastroom.
