Hotel Italia
Ranked #4 of 12 Hotels in Noli
Reviewed September 2, 2012

We arrived late into Noli and walked along the foreshore checking out all the hotels. Hotel Italia appears to be on the only 4-star hotel. The rest we checked out were clearly 3-star hotels. Given we arrived late in the day, we asked for a reduced rate (ie the same as the nearby 3-star hotels) and received it.
The rooms (although quite small) are really very nice. The entire hotel feels like it's been recently renovated, so everything is still new. The view from our room was straight over the beach, which was really nice.
The breakfast was great (a really nicely spread buffet), the hotel is very centrally located (right in the middle of the beach).
Only bad thing was parking, but then parking in Noli was difficult anyway. We managed to find a parking space in a nearby street, however in the height of summer would have been difficult I'm sure.

Warm welcome.

Parking not very easy in Noli and hotel has no car park (it is in the centre of an old village!). But hotel provided some good tips so we managed to avoid paying for parking even in peak season.

We had a lovely triple room on the first floor, with terrace and sea view. Modern design with some elegant touches. Smart, new bathroom. Very good air con and excellent noise insulation with patio door shut. Very clean and kept beautifully clean by very kind and friendly housekeeping team. Quirky mezzanine floor in our room for the separate single bed. Bit too high for our four year old so we moved mattress down to floor level. Good for older child though.

Great position right across the road from the public beach. Rare to find a large public beach an Italian resort where you don't have to pay. Bonus. Note beach is grainy sand and pebbles.

Lovely breakfast with cakes, cheese, fruit, Italian coffee, eggs as you want them cooked to order. Though the menu didn't change. You can sit on the terrace on the street in the morning sun. Breakfast on room terrace an option but we didn't try it.

Overall an excellent stay.

Price is high of course but this was Liguria in peak season. Offset by a range of excellent and modestly priced restaurants with excellent pizza, pasta and freshly caught seafood.

I always wonder how these kind of hotels can get 4 stars?.Where do I begin from? Rooms? small and over used furniture. Cleanness? a joke.Reception? Total missing.Something positive? Yes overview.
Price? over-over-rated

We've been to your hotel Last august, and were truly satisfied with the service and the room we stayed.and were hoping to go back again next year with my family,..but the room needs to improvise more, like wifi in every floor, some cables maybe...also the bathrooms curtain is not so hygienic to use,if it's possible put a glass door instead?Food are great!but every time we go down the old lady who sits in the reception is terrible and she play music so loud like shes in discotheque,,,not very approachable person..but I think the man is very nice and gentleman please keep up that way. Were proposing your hotel with our friends as well,we hope to stay in the same floor on the top...

We stayed for one night in the Hotel Italia on our way north. I had booked the hotel based on reviews and on reading of the town. The hotel was perfect. It was small but very recently remodelled. It is situated one block from the ocean, seperated by a road, but the bay is visible from most of the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner elsewhere but had a perfectly adequate breakfast at the hotel. The town of Noli is a little jewel among a host of much less interesting tourist resorts on the ligurian coast

Stayed one night on our way back from visiting Cinque Terre and lucky for us there was a room available at Hotel Italia. Beautiful room with a huge balcony at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea, a perfect place to sit and relax.

We stayed at another hotel in Noli a few days earlier on our way to Levanto and it was nowhere near as nice as this.
