Really lovely location, stayed at the longhouse. Views were lovely. Didn't like dogs waiting in dining area to eat, having said that BBQ was amazing. Room was as a longhouse which means exposted to insects.

I booked the longhouse for my stay initially, but when i checked in and saw the room, i knew straight away that i wouldn't be able to get a good night's sleep, the room is pretty much open for creepy crawlies. So if you're terrified of bugs like I am, AVOID the longhouse at all cost.

I upgraded to the new cottages for RM120, which is RM240 per night, it was LOVELY!!! The room was very spacious and clean, there's a double bed and a single bed, for larger groups i think you can fit 2 more people in the living room.On top of that, I got to enjoy a great sunset view from my doorstep!!! Very relaxing environment, perfect for honeymoon!

They've installed streetlights to guide guests to the restaurants. It's a good 500 m walk from the longhouse and cottages. The Pandan Teh Tarik (RM4.50) is a MUST try!! and fried meehoon (RM10) was delicious. The Tea Pancakes with honey syrup (RM 9) was "unique", with a weird aftertaste, but if you have extra cash on your hands, definitely go for it!

The only downside is that it's pretty isolated, far away from everything, besides from the fish spa nearby, there's not much to do around here, no other restaurants as well. 1-2 nights stay would be more than enough.

Spotless rooms, AC, clean bathroom amazing view, what else would one need. If you want a place to chill and walk around the tea estate, this is it!

The restaurant is very basic and food takes ages, but that is a minor inconvenience!

Our small trekking group spent 2 fantastic nights in the Longhouse and were very impressed with the meals & quality of service during our stay. Having Mt. Kinabalu as a backdrop whilst dining just added to the ambience of this working tea plantation and we would be happy to return again. We shared the Longhouse with another much larger trekking group who were pretty noisy when returning late at night but its wasn't of a major concern.
We enjoyed the Cultural evening with the kids performing the Bamboo dance to traditional Gongs.
The reception was most helpful in loaning me an electrical plug adapter so I could charge my mobile phone and the small shop had a good variety of its tea products which made excellent gifts.

Room Tip: Choose the Longhouse for an unique experience!

We stayed for 1 night in long house. That was very interesting for us to live in long house. The room was good with 3 beds and mosquito nets and a sink. There were towels, shampoo and 2 bottles of water in the room. We expected worse conditions. Only one more couple lived in long house so there were no problems with shower and toilet, no queues. The restaurant is about 500 m but for us it was nice to walk a little bit after good dinner. We enjoyed everything the view, the tea factory, the food, the service. That was amazing.
