We were staying locally and the Table de Nans was recommended to us as a good place to eat "rustic" (rather than "gastronomique") food. I think we may have gone in through the back door (which, confusingly, faces the main square) but this meant we were welcomed personally by the chef who was delighted to recognise our English accents! We were the first patrons to arrive and what was really wonderful was that, as others (all French) arrived, they all wished us "bon soir". As others have pointed out, the set menus are slightly expensive (we chose, as I think did everyone else there that evening, from the 28 Euro option) but, my word, the quality and quantity were outstanding. Service was friendly and unobtrusive and the house wine was great. If you're ever anywhere near Nans-les-Pins, I highly recommended a visit.
