We found this place through tripadivsor and haven't been disappointed at all! We got an upgrade and the service was very warm and friendly. Dinner in their gastronomic restaurant was excellent and the breakfast selection was great too. We will be back for sure!

We were extremely lucky on this trip to get an upgrade to a suite , it was absolutely lovely, my only problem is my wife will want a suite everytime now. The staff are first class, and very happy talk english. We previously stayed in the pavillion and our room was roomy and very comfortable, the suite was brilliant! The food in the restaurant is truely breathtaking, really superb, and if you dont want a full on taste explosion the bistro is excellent as well. The grounds are lovely and worth a walk around, and the village is very picturesque. Truly a fantastic hotel, cant praise them enough, make an effort and stay here.

Just because you don't stay at the hotel doesn't mean you can't eat there. Though its little out of the way in Beaune and driving in the dark (and I mean dark) we finally got to the restaurant. After sunset it's a gated hotel so you have to get "buzzed' in by the hotel reception. We were greeted as if we were royalty and though we were not staying there, we were seen as VIPs. We had our apertif's in the bar with some nibbles (2 sets) and then off to dinner. A lovely room, with tiled floors and beautiful ceilings, lots of air circulation and lots of guests (which means it's good). The pricing is not cheap but well worth it. The Maitre'd was wonderful and we got to talking about food. I asked if there was anything special tonight that might not be on the menu and they had fresh Grouse - i was excited. The wine selection was wonderful and the menu delightful and they were very helpful in explaining everything. 1st Course was for my husband some beautiful sweet bread with Gnocchi and root vegetables tart, my was a Langoustines with a poached egg, crayfish and fresh truffles - both were home runs, 2nd Course for my husband was the Lamb which was so lovely and beautifully cooked and i had the Grouse which was divine. I was so full that i could not eat anymore (it was those darn nibbles in the beginning), even though my husband was full he ordered a decant chocolate dessert and I simply looked at the 2 large cheese trays (yes 2) that were floating around the room. It was such a delight that traditional french cuisine can be paired with 5* service and yet you feel at home. All service staff were wonderful, friendly and professional. If you have the time please go there but wait for the dinner and don't eat too many of the pre-amuse bouches.

Levernois is proof that an hotel with a good standard of accomodayion, good friendly service and good food will always be in demand.
We recommend paying the Euros 20.00 for the wine tasting in the petit cave. The tasting was carried out by a young sommelier who was knowledgeable, friendly and switched languages, avec pas de problem.
I woud suggest young families are given accomadation in the annex as children being children to tend to be noisy in their bedrooms!
This will not deter us returning again in the spring.
Chapeau to Monsieur & Madam Bottigliero and their team.

Room Tip: Rooms in the main building have been decorated to a very high standard. Room 36 was excellent. Comfo...

We stayed for a night with 3 children on the way to Megeve from Disneyland! I counted 15 people in the kitchen! We didn't do the fine dining as we had the 3 terrors with us but ate in the Bistro. Nothing was too much effort for the professional and friendly staff. We had a connecting room with everything you would expect from a Relais and Chateau Hotel. Golf course very close and bikes for hire to cycle around the beautiful area. Not cheap at 800 euros all in for one night but we enjoyed it.

Booked the hotel online for a family mini break to France. We were met by the wife of the owner who was charming and welcoming. The accommodation was 5* and the food to die for! The staff and the service was exceptional. I would definitely return and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Highlight of our trip. Almost didnt stay because of the rules they have about dining - must eat w the hotel two of three nights if you stay that long - but after dining in the different restaurants and experiencing the level of service I am a complete convert. Perfect base for exploring burgundy. Staff is friendly and professional and multilingual, rooms are large and well apportioned, grounds are exquisite and the dining from the bistro side to the grand room is creative, fairly priced and exquisite. Wine list is extraordinary as well. Only two suggestions. One, a complimentary shuttle to the Town of Beaune would be a nice and inexpensive addition that would enhance the overall experience for those who are not renting cars. Two, in the modern era, a gym would also be a great investment, and again easy to build in to the property given its size. Stayed in the Pavillion, which is as advertised and comfortable. We had a room near the main door to the Pavillion and that was a bit noisy in the mornings due to doors being opened and closed, but this is something I suspect management could easily fix. Would return in a heartbeat. Staff sets Levernois apart. Relaix and Chateaux should send others to Levernois for training. First rate and friendly.

Room Tip: slightly more noise in rooms ten and eleven due to the door. no pool or fitness center on site so p...
