The beach is a myst see, very beautiful and the sand is Amazing. the Food is also good at the restaurant. However, i feel that you should not have to pay for a chair.

Beautiful, clear, iydillic sea and black area. We walked there from our hotel (Iberostar Playa Pilar) through the shallow sea and on the beach. It took approximately 25 minutes. You can also take the open top bus there. On the beach are some sunbeams you can hire and there is a bar. We loved the sea so much though that we stayed in the sea, chatting and having fun for a couple of hours. Definitely worth a trip BEAUTIFUL

This beach was absolutely the most beautiful I have seen! Water was turquoise and clear. Snorkelling is a must!
Chairs and palapas are cheap!

We stayed at Iberostar pilar so it was about a 20 minute walk..the buses go about every hour or 2 and we didn't like it much on the beach so we left early and didn't wait for the bus back. With small kids and complaining it wasn't a great experience. The beach and the sand is amazing really like nowhere else but so many waves so the kids were scared to get in. For adults it was amazing yo get in the water.
They charge 2 pesos per chair to lay on. They are all in bad shape and not clean..we were all disappointed as our hotel was much nicer..yhere is a little place there too for some good and drinks but not right on the beach and it doesn't look nice..actually looks like nobody takes care if anything.. so if you only care for water and sand go but everything else is kind of disappointing.
