Went to this beach several times and it was never overly busy, unfortunately part of it was shut off as they are improving the breakwater along a large section of it to preserve the sand. There are beds on the beach but these are for the residents of the hotels or can be hired for a large amount of cash! We took towels and that was fine.

Idllyic quiet beach away from populated beaches further down coastline. On street parking. Lovely place to bathe if you want peace and quiet. No life guard station.

I think construction will be going on for years. It’s a shame but it’s one beach less for now and restricts walking from port st charles

Having stayed in Speights town 30 years ago on our honeymoon, it was essential that again we walked the beach route from hole town, still the platinum coast is the nicest part of barbados
