Romantic setting day or evening. Excellent food and wonderful service.

My husband had salt fish cakes and ty chicken pad and I had the fried king prawns. Both meals were well presented and you could taste the freshness of the ingrediants.

Definatley worth a visit!

“Friendly service in lovely setting”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We had a lovely table on the terrace ( the restaurant was very quiet, but livened up by people popping in for a drink at the bar). Very friendly service and interesting choice of dishes on the menu. The marlin red Thai curry I had for main was delicious. Not cheap, but nowhere in Barbados seems to be this year. Recommended.

“NEW OWNERS MAKE THIS PLACE SHINE”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Visited with my girlfriends. New owner Mark is really welcoming and a great host. The new décor is more funky than when it was Mangos - great lighting. I know he has plans to Zzuzh up the exterior too. Food - lovely. The best salt fish cakes I've ever had. I wish I were still eating them now; light as a feather. Great catch of the day. A perfect place, a perfect meal. Hope all goes very well for you Mark.

“Lovely lunch”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We called in for lunch in the first week of May and Jumas was very quiet. We had a table overlooking the ocean, which was very nice. Having read another review here we opted for the rum punch on arrival - an excellent choice! (And the second one was just as good :-) )

We both had Thai curries (one chicken, one marlin) and both were excellent. There was plenty to choose from on the lunch menu and the prices were reasonable. We looked at the evening menu and thought it seemed a bit expensive (even by Barbados standards).

Service was very pleasant, if a little slow. We wondered how well they would cope with more than a few tables occupied, but had no complaints about the service we received.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Jumas.
