Crave has the potential to be alongside Harlequin as one of the best restaurants in St Lawrence Gap but in the second half of Feb there were clearly problems in that the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed if too many people arrived at the same time. The food, when it came, was excellent and, although Crave is at the top end of the price range for the Gap, it's not expensive. The staff are superb so, once the difficulties in the kitchen have been solved, this will be a brilliant restaurant, especially on Sunday nights (assuming they hang on to the jazz guitar and singer - they're wonderful).
