The people are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Barbados is a lovely place to go. If you have time take 1 of the excursions out to see the turtles. We went on Cool Running 111. If you are disabled and would still like to see the turtles ask for Christopher. You have a 1 to 1 experience and he puts you ate ease straight away. They even had subscription goggles to use .A must an experience you should do.i would do this experience again with this crew who were brilliant with me and treated me like a vip. Wonderful.
Oistins on a Friday get there early as the best eating places are buisy. A wheel chair is a challenge, but to get a feel of Caribbean life.

Surf can be rough at times but long shelf.
Nice white sand. Limited vendors.
Good breeze to keep you cool.

Amazing beach. Not very busy with clear and warm water. Much better than west coast beaches where I stayed 2 years ago

It is another beach in the south coast, just west of Oistins. It is good if you stay at a hotel there. All the beaches in the south coast are nice but they are in the hotel zone, so to me they are mainly for tourists who like to party at night and enjoy the beach during the day. I prefer the more secluded beaches in the west coast.

We stayed at Ocean Two on Dover beach for our honeymoon and loved it! The beach was not too packed and we got to watch a lot of people learning to surf at Barry's surf school. Some days the waves got a little high but nothing we couldn't handle. We used body boards a couple times which were very fun in the waves! We walked over to the other part of Dover beach quite a few times as well. Very east to get too especially when the tide is lower. However, this part had a lot more people because of the resorts and beach apts. Overall very nice beach! Miss it already!
