“Fantastic”

We have just returned from Ocean Two having had the most amazing time. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so helpful and friendly (Ornan, Roggick and O'Neill you are the best!!). We stayed in a one bedroom suite overlooking the sea which had the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The accommodation is very well appointed with dishwasher, oven, washer/dryer and all the crockery and cutlery etc. you could need. We only ate once at the resort at lunchtime and the food was excellent. Happy Hour cocktails were great - thanks to Jeffery. Really hope to return one day...

My husband and I are currently staying at the ocean two for our honeymoon. We are on day three and will be here for four more days. We have had a mixed experience thus far.

Pros:
Our room is very clean. The bed is unbelievably comfortable. The bathroom and shower are phenomenal.
Jeffery the bartender has been so friendly. He is very social, works very hard, and makes you feel relaxed and welcome.
The beach service is quick and friendly. They have been very helpful. And the pool/beach furniture is incredibly comfortable and relaxing.

Cons:
The front desk has not been informative at all. When we checked in we were not welcomed with drinks. No one informed us how to get to the rooftop pool. We went to the top floor walking around trying to find it until housekeeping saw us and let us know. We were not told there was breakfast downstairs. We assumed there is no room service because we do not have a menu in our room and no one has told us there is room service. We also were not to.d anything about the services the hotel provides. One of the beach attendants informed us there were kayaks to use. It's unfortunate that we have not been told about so many things which we would have used so far on our honeymoon. Yesterday we asked Kylee if there was a public bus we could take to Bridgetown and she was very helpful in booking the shuttle for us.

Had an amazing trip to Barbados, and Ocean Two was incredible. The staff knows your name, knows your drink and helps with anything/everything you need. The resort has TWO daily Happy Hours and a Managers Reception at the Rooftop pool once a week. We didn't eat at the Restaurant bc there was a full kitchen in our room ... so we walked a few blocks away to the little Dover Grocery for our grocery needs. Good Location, beautiful beach. Really you don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will hopefully return one day!

We just return home from Ocean Two, in Barbados and we had a blast. The resort was AMAZING. The customer service is impecable, their goal is "aim to please" and they exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a One bedroom apartment with an ocean view which was lovely. The food at the resort was good but a bit pricey compared to other local restaurant, but that didnt stop us from eating there on nites we didnt want to hangout. The ocean is gorgeous but very rocky so i would recommend swim shoes. Now ST. Lawrence Gap, has lots of places to eat thats in walking distance, but we took a taxi some nites because we were turned off by some of the locals that asked us to purchase POT, but say no thank you and keep walking. But apart from that we found that The locals are very friendly. I recommend Oistins on Friday nite, it a blast, it reminds me of a big cookout, its good music and you get to hangout with the locals. Overall the trip was very relaxing shout out to Jeff, Robyn, Errie, Akeem, Paige, André, Shontelle, Kemar, & Khadisha they were Amazing!!!!

We have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in Barbados, staying at Ocean two resort (paradise)

We cannot praise this place enough - perfection! From a very welcoming arrival and personal show round of our room (thank you Kylee) to the attentive service throughout our whole stay to the very personal farewells that we received on our departure.
Every single member of staff, from the beach and pool staff ,the reception staff and to our cleaner, Elsie, all excelled beyond any possible expectation. Thank you to all of you for a wonderful stay.

As for Barbados and St Lawrence gap - its one of the most beautiful places that we have visited in the world but beyond doubt it is the friendliest place we have ever visited. We do have to say that we found the street sellers and even the taxi drivers at the end of the hotel road very polite and friendly. If we didn't wish to buy anything they took a polite " no thank you" and wished us a nice day. Simples !!

If you're unsure whether to visit.....BOOK NOW!

Room Tip: We had a one bedroom ocean view suite and was worth every penny for the view! Extremely spacious and...

This was my first trip to Barbados and was a treat for myself and friend who was celebrating her 30th birthday. We were blown away by the service upon arrival- welcome drinks, cold flannels to mop our weary brow, and a tour of our appartment,
Our accomodation was first class- sumptuos king size bed, plenty of storage and a TV. The bathroom was stunning, as was the living room/kitchen/diner. If I could I would trade it for my flat at home!
The view from our balcony was stunning- the beach and the ocean- bliss. The staff were all friendly and very helpful- shout out to Khadejah and Kemar on reception who kept us calm when our flight was cancelled. Shout out to Andre the Waiter, Shantelle, Paige, Orlando and Errie- thanks for making this a fantastic trip. I am looking to book again next year.

Room Tip: Ask for the ocean front suite

This is a fabulous luxury hotel in a great location with friendly staff. On arrival we had a friendly welcome and were shown to the lounge, given a fruit cocktail and cold flannel which was really appreciated after the journey. We were given a tour of the hotel including the roof top terrace and pool and shown to our 1 bedroom suite. The suite was luxurious, with a balcony overlooking the sea and had everything you could need including a washer-dryer and full kitchen facilities. We didn’t use this at all however as there are so many fantastic restaurants!

The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk away from the St Lawrence Gap area where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Pisces is a nice restaurant with amazing views across the bay and I would also recommend Sweet Potato for good authentic Bajan cooking and 2 for 1 rum cocktails! The Mexican bar and restaurant Café Sol tended to be more lively and stay open later than some of the other places in the Gap and is also a good place if you just want a snack or bar food. A must do trip is a catamaran cruise for seeing more of the island, snorkelling and seeing the turtles.

The pool area has to be my favourite thing about the hotel. The sunbeds are cushioned and so so comfortable, there are always fresh towels waiting and the pool attendants regularly bring iced water, cold flannels and cooling mist spray which is such a nice touch. There is also a pool bar for happy hour cocktails and food.

The breakfast was tasty and personally I found there was enough choice for a 2 week stay however I appreciate the other comments that the variety of juice and fruit could have been better.

Overall though the outstanding memories are of the friendliness of the staff whether reception, housekeeping, pool or restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and only wish I could go back!
