Appearance, reservation and price give the impression of a high-end restaurant but delivery is average. Making the reservation, we were impressed with the questions asked "does anyone have allergies?" and "is this a special occasion?", etc. We arrived 15 minutes early to be kept waiting in the bar area until the reservation time although the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived. No mention or recognition of the special occasion was offered by the hostess or waiter. The food and presentation was excellent although minimal in the French tradition. The location is wonderful and service staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are at the top end for south coast restaurants. Overall, not very good value unless you put a lot of value on the location.
