I went here while my husband was surfing up the street by the cliffs. Very nice beach. Fun waves. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but it is manageable. Beautiful view.

Great places to wade/swim without being knocked down by the waves! The beach was clean free of venders and a great place just to relax. Children are safe to play in the tide pool out from the beach at Coconut Court.

I first discovered this jewel of a beach last year when I stayed in a rented house located right on the beach. Hastings beach is ideal for families with small children. A small man-made lagoon provides a safe swim spot for little ones, and it's well used by locals and visitors alike. That said, it's never so crowded that you can't find a space to stretch out. Most of the sun longing people are guests of the Soco hotel located on the beach, and/or of the few private rented beachfront apartments here. It's located at the eastern end of the Hastings Board Walk and is a fantastic place from which to watch the sunset. It almost feels like a private beach, sandwiched between two larger popular beaches. Keep walking eastwards for about half a mile along a practically deserted beach and you will come to the Hilton Hotel. Turn around and walk - or run - westwards and you'll come to Accra/Rockley beach. There are no shops or vendors here, so you'll need to come with a picnic etc but you'll be relatively up disturbed. It's a great spot to watch local fishermen and the occasional ship or boat but despite its location in a fairly residential and commercial area, it remains a fairly quiet spot. Perfect.

Lovely beach with many stretches of sand or walk along the broad walk. Lovely views and some bars along the bay.

Lovely sandy beach. There is a man made lagoon which is great to paddle in and allows safe access to deeper waters. Lots of creatures in rock pools to look for.
