I recently had dinner at Tapas as my family and I do each year when in Barbados. This year we decided to make a dinner of tapas instead of ordering the traditional meal plate. The Thai fish cakes were outstanding and the beef spring rolls very good. Spicy wedgies are nice but one may expect more than 3 or 4 potato wedges. Everyone who partook enjoyed the calamari. The only disappointment was the full order of muscles, which were a bit broken up and on the well done side. Dessert was the highlight with a new one for me, pistachio creme brule. The spoon was passed around the table and all declared it the winner although the cheesecake was also excellent. I intend to search for a recipe for this heavenly delight. Service was friendly and quite good and the price overall was good value and included a bottle of wine and coffees to finish. Tapas adds a 12% service charge to the bill so be aware that a small additional tip should be sufficient. If you go, reserve in advance and try to get a table "on the rail" for the best experience. If you request a seating around 6:00 p.m., you should also be treated to a lovely sunset. Enjoy Tapas. We always do.

We have eaten here a couple of times now, once at lunch and once in the evening. Both times the food , service and views are fantastic.
All I can say is try it, you won't be disappointed.

Didn't book a table on a Tuesday night,so perhaps we were to blame! But we were offered a table within half an hour of arrival so waited.within twenty minutes we were taken to a table in the car park overlooking the sea, sniffing taxi exhausts! Waited for service which came relatively quick with menus and a small torch to read with! How kind! Then waited for complimentary tap water, and a waiter to take our food order. We did ask if we could have a table inside if one became available,so at least we could see what we were eating! We were offered a table inside after our starter, and we accepted it with thanks.after another wait of about half an hour our main course arrived. My seafood spaghetti was good, but my wife's seafood risotto was bland and totally unseasoned.having already been at the restaurant for over two hours we asked for the cheque,we couldn't take any more waiting. A disgruntled waiter brought our bill including 12 per cent service,so we paid and went.Such a shame;I'm sure that with a little more attention to the customer's needs, this place could be superb.

We had several lovely dinners here. Nice location by the boardwalk.
Better to make reservation to be sure to get a table. Not the best service on Sunday nights, straff is not so happy to have to work all days of the week.
Great wine list, bombolivs...

Tapas had the most beautiful view on the beach! The staff and management were unbelievable. Try the olive bombs - coupled with a great choice of wine. Thank you to Tanya for your thoughtfulness!!!! If you go to Barbados - this restaurant is a MUST for lunch, dinner, drinks and/or just snacks!
