This restaurant is attractively located on the quayside and actively promotes its seafood dishes with an array of colourful photographs. Normally, we are suspicious of restaurants that feel the need to illustrate their menus in such a vibrant way but this place was an exception.
We saw how generous the portions were being brought out and decided to take the plunge. We shared a refreshing salade composée before attacking the seafood dishes. I had one of their specials - a poêlée langouste consisting of langoustes, prawns, scallops, clams, mussels etc on a bed of rice and covered in the most delicious foie gras sauce. A dish made in heaven. My wife had langouste tagliatelle which she rated as one of the best she had ever had. The meal ended with a slice of fiadone, the local Corsican cheesecake.
The meal was not cheap - 88 euros including a bottle of rosé - but we felt is was good value considering the high quality of the ingredients. The service was prompt and provided by cheerful staff. The restaurant was packed so we are amazed that it has not received more reviews.
