Best dining experience of our entire trip to Italy ... SO fabulous that we returned three more times in August. Francesco's "Gargotta" is "to-die-for" exquisite. The dishes are unlike anything we've ever had. Best ever are the seppia-soaked pangrattato fish in a delicate creamy sauce, the stuffed zucchini flowers, the sole appetizer wrapped around grapes, the best Prosecco I've ever had anywhere, the grilled vegetables, the tiramisu and the flaming creme brulee ... along with the crema di limoncello (with a kick!). Mouthwateringly delicious ... So much so that we brought the kids back with us ... and invited friends another evening. Special and worth every penny (and then again some!). Wishing Francesco (and his mom, who is the chef with the creative finesse of an absolute genious!) would come to Miami to open a place here. Castiglioncello is a tiny town on the Mediterranean ... and if you blink you'll miss it, driving along the coast of Tuscany. But don't blink ... It's worth seeing the town, and worth driving for hours just to have a taste of what they cook up. (Eating outside on the terrace is the best ... but make a reservation if you want to eat outside because everyone seems to like that terrace!). Vicki Restivo - Miami, USA
