Whilst staying here my freind badly twisted his knee and needed hospital treatment, the staff were very helpfull, even helping him from his room to the bar using the golf buggy.
The rooms were very clean and the food was very good and a nice relaxing pool area, we would come back and a big thankyou to the staff.

Bit of a late review but they all add up.

We stayed in a two bed apartment in the block nearest the beach steps, ground floor room with slight sea view. Think it was room 105. Got a great deal.

Couldn't fault the room, location, facilities complex or staff. We went to the themed night at the Island Blue hotel, was good fun and good food.

The resort of Pefkos was great, loved the Enigma and Nostalgia restaurants.

Don't rely on bus services, a couple of days the buses never even turned up.

Defo get a taxi (or us if it turns up) into Lindos, great places. We went during day and at night, very romantic and quirky.

We also went into Faliraki, just to say we have been, lol what a dump, wouldn't return.

Rhodes town by day and night is amazing, you really must go.

Any other question please email me on lindsey . coffey @ hotmail . co . uk

We stayed at the the Lindia Thalassa Resort for 10 days in July, my wife, 13 year old daughter and I.

It's a fabulous resort, excellent location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Maria at reception and Lolos at the pool bar, a real credit to the hotel.

Rooms were spacious and kept very clean by the maids who work very hard in very warm conditions.

The weather was superb, in the forties most days, aircon a must, even though it's at a supplement, just allow for it when planning your holiday, circa 9 Euros a day, for one room.
Supermarket on site was fine, good selection of products, yes slightly more expensive but no more that we've experienced at other hotel supermarkets. Pool bar also served great breakfasts from 9:00 in the morning, well worth a try!

Only slight negatives were the fact that you had to pay for the sunloungers on the beach (which seemed to be owned by the same people who own the hotel). Surely they should allow hotel residents to use them for free, providing they can evidence that they are staying at the hotel and then charge non residents who visit the beach from other hotels?

My only other slight issue was the very hard bed, although we all managed to sleep at night (thanks to the aircon cooling the room down!) we all woke with numb limbs or stiff backs. Many other guests mentioned this to us as well. Maybe this is normal for hotels in Greece?

Would this stop me from going again, definitely not, we had a great time, it's a lovely resort and we look forward to going back in the near future :)

Ok just got back from a 2 week stay at this hotel and have to say it was fantastic. We went on a family holiday with our 2 teenagers and 4 year old and stopped in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was lovely but basic and kept spotless by the maids. It consisted of 2 bedrooms one double and the other had 2 single beds in to which an extra bed was added for us. There was a small kitchen with 2 ring hob and fridge and plenty of pots pans and culelry. Then there is a small bathroom with toilet , basin and a shower , but no bath. There is no living area in the apartments but the master bedroom did have a portable tv in to keep the kids amused. Only downside is that we got very little privacy. Just 2 warning 1 about the beds though is that they are typical greek beds and really hard and 2 the rooms do not come with the air conditioning included that cost me 200 euros and another 50 euros for the safe key. Other than that the rooms were quite nice and very quiet. We stopped in room 207 which was in block B near to the beach and well away from the pool area. If you have young children send an email to the hotel and request a quiet apartment away from the pool as there is nightime entertainment on.
The hotel itself is also spotless and kept that way by an army of cleaners and maintanence men.Every morning the paths were swept and washed and the gardens kept weed free. There is a kids club which is open from 10:30 - 12:00 and then 15:00 until 17:00 the girls that run it are fantastic and even take the kids out for a meal and a party free of charge at the Elia resturant which is on the grounds. There is a nice size pool and free sunbeds as well as a well stocked bar. The hotel is part of a larger complex of the Pefki Island resort and Island blue hotel which adds up to another 4 pools that you can also relax around. If you book bed and breakfast like we did you will have your breakfast at the Elia restuarant which is just stunning and searves the usual buffet breakfasts which were really nice.
All in all this hotel complex is 1 of the best i have stayed in and apart from the extra cost of the air conditioning and the beds being a little hard I cannot really fault ad would reccommend to anyone. It was chav free , quiet and very relaxed and the staff were all top notch.
What can I say about the resort itself. It is a wierd sort of resort with 1 long street of lovely bars and restuarants all that cater for familys. There are 3 nice bars that have bouncy castles and kids play areas which helps keep the kids amused. Pefkos is catered to familys so is a very relaxed resort not a lagar lout in sight. There is not a great deal to do in the resort and could do with a small amusement park with a few rides to keep the kids amused but all in all we did not find this much of a problem . We had our evening meals at various restuarants and can recomend then all but 1 in particular stood out for us all and that was Nicholases on the hill as you enter Pefkos. It had brilliant views of the bay and the food was fantastic. Also try 3 brothers , Enigma and Flyers bar on the beach. Speaking of the beach be warned there is not much of a beach to speak of. The beach can be accessed from the Thalassa but is only wide enough to fit 1 sunbed on. This goes on for a good 300 yards and then opens out onto a small beach that is big enough to get 3 sunbeds on and a maximum of about 70. We had a day on the beach but tended to stop around the pool due to there not being much beach and also there being a charge for the sunbeds. We have had a fantastic holiday and would recomend this hotel and resort to anyone with a family. Lager louts please stay away.

This was our first trip to the linda thalassa resort and it was perfect in everyway. We had our two yr old daughter with us and they gave us a lovely big room which was spotless and also on the ground floor so it was safe for our daughter. The pool area was so nice and just right for us and being quite an english resort you didn't get the usual fight for a sunbed. It was also so close to the beech you only had to go down a few steps and your there !! The supermarket on site is great and sells lots for children, nappies, wipes and cow and gate baby food if travelling with young children. The town is only about a 5 min walk away and lot's of the little bars had play area's for children which was great. I can't rate this resort enough it was just so lovely.

. We arrived late on Saturday 18th June after a delayed flight with Thomson. The weather diabolical at Gatwick but had to fly to Brindissi Italy first to deliver a new flight crew to a plane which had had to emergency land there due to technical problems. So after 2 take-offs and landings we arrived at Rhodes 21/2 hours late. After what seemed an extra fast route via Lardos our coach arrived at Lindia Thalassa. On arrival at reception the first person we see is Maria. After 3 visits she has become almost a personal friend and it was great to see her again. She gave us our keys room 308 B block. We have always stayed in A block but evidently now First Choice have decided to get more money out of people by charging for a sea view.

However our room was superb, with a beautiful sea view from our balcony. As well as the usual Toaster and kettle, this year we also had a full ironing board and steam iron. Arriving so late we were unable to get anything to eat so just made do with a cuppa. We were there for 12 nights so as usual paid for the safe. No surprises with the cost we had been before. The hotel was everybit as beautiful as always, lovely gardens, lovely clean room and towels and sheets changed everyday. Our cleaner was a gem and worked like a trojan in the heat. I did notice this year although they dont clean on Sundays they did come in to empty the waste bins. Every part of the hotel looked spick and span and also saw that they had shiny new handrails down the stairs to the beach.

It was incredibly hot the first week touching 40-41 so aircon was indeed required. Again no shocks re price weve been before.

We found Pefkos itself busier than our previous visits and to be honest it does seem to be attracting a much younger single crowd. We found that a little worrying having been told by a tour rep how they have cleaned up Faliraki. Are they now going to come further South.

All in all a lovely holiday. I can never fault Lindia Thalassa they do a wonderful job. I know most people complain about the safe price and aircon, but Im not sure that isnt Rhodes in General from what Ive heard. Possibly my only complaint this year is that it seems as if it is being marketed as a complete 3 hotel complex and it seemed each individual hotel is loosing its uniqueness. Just my opinion .

We were due to come home on 29th June, however due to the Greek Air Traffic controllers strike we had a 6 hour delay.

All in all another lovely year and would thank all the staff who we met for helping us enjoy our holiday. A big hello to the ladies in the supermarket and of course Maria.

Maybe see you all again in 2012
