“One of the few restaurants in Pefkos with a view of the sea and beach”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

We visited Kyma "Waves" restaurant in Pefkos this July. We also visited twice last year. We would go back again and again! It is on Lee Beach, and there is a lovely view of the bay and all the twinkling lights in Gennadi and Kiotari across the water. The eating area is on two levels, large swathes of floaty white fabric drape the four corners of the room. The tables are immaculately clean and everything is beautifully presented. It is usually open to the cool evening breezes but there are glass panels which can be closed if it gets windy.
The food is extra special. It is a mixture of Mediterranean and Greek, but with a real emphasis on quality contemporary. The fillet steak was beautifully cooked and my lighter choice, a mushroom risotto was superb. The food has always been beautifully presented and the waitresses are helpful as well as being discreet - removing unwanted items and refilling glasses without prompting. Twice a week there is a saxophonist who plays smooth jazz, and this year there was also a guitarist. This adds to the atmosphere of pure enjoyment.
This is an exceptional restaurant, perhaps slightly pricey, but for quality and setting it can't be beaten. We feel completely at ease from the moment we enter and assured of a magical evening.

“Last night special”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Lovely views, on the beach, great to watch the sun going down through the glass walls.
Food was lovely & menu varied and did expect the bill to be much higher.
Cocktails were great and loved the strawberry and sundried tomatoe butters with the bread basket

“Modern, excellent food”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

You going to Pefkos? Go here! The service is professional, the tables clean, the view stunning, the food of a high standard and I do believe the only restaurant we eat in with no cats around.
The Lamb Shank was especially good and the mushroom and bacon starter thing I had for starter was fab. For what you get, the prices are reasonable. A must

“What a fab find!”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

The setting for this restaurant is outstanding as it overlooks the beach at Pefkos. The food is just a little bit more special than the usual Greek tavernas - described correctly as fine dining - yet the prices are reasonable - a very large glass of house wine was just 2.80 euros. The restaurant is very stylish and smart yet they had no problem about us being still in our shorts and t-shirts having just come off the beach and wanting an early dinner just after 6pm. The menu has an excellent choice of food and wines and the desserts sounded amazing but unfortunately I didn't have room for one. The staff are friendly and excellent at their job. This restaurant is attached to Lee Beach taverna which is open all day and again provides a fantastic menu with lots of choice and the same superb staff - some of whom change straight over at the end of the day to carry on working in the restaurant. It is a very popular place and it seems that at lunchtime the beach empties and goes to eat at this place. Great atmosphere and can't recommend it highly enough. PS - Try the homemade Baklava at Lee Beach - yum
