We have just returned from the Stella and what a lovely stay we had all be it a short one and we so wished it had been for 2 weeks. Reception was so friendly and we were given one of the rooms to the left as you walk in. It was huge! When you first open the door there is a fair sized passage way, bathroom to the right with a proper bath and shower and then another door to the bedroom and kitchen area. There was even a table and three chairs which is so much more civilised than eating snacks on your bed. In total there was a double bed (made up of two singles) and also two further single beds it was massive. Patio doors opened onto a large balcony that had sunshine from about lunchtime till it went down and there was another table and chairs out there. We loved the balcony as it was fairly private once we strategically placed our beach towels over the railings as it does look onto the Jasmine Bar which is over the road. I have to say the apartment was immaculately clean and I also loved the gorgeous brilliant white towels which were soft and not like sandpaper, the sheets were the same and the attention to detail was brilliant. The kitchen even had a microwave and the whole apartment was like a little house. The best bit was that there was no one above you either as they are like bungalows and once your head hit the soft pillows there wasn't a peep to wake you. The one thing about the Stella is the space, there is tons of it and even round the pool their is plenty of sunbeds to go round and no one is squeezed in. You must take a stroll up the hill to the bakery, its just a minutes walk away, the cheese pie/spinach pie and desserts are to die for and make for a gorgeous lunch on the balcony. All in all an excellent stay and in our opinion one of the best apartments in Pefkos. Thank you Stella and your team we loved being here.

Room Tip: Rooms 701 to 704 are bungalows, huge with massive balconies.

Just back from staying at the stella. what reviews i read before going are correct, nice place. My one recommendation is that you should take a shower mat with you, we had problems with safety features in the bathroom which nearly resulted in a nasty accident. Luckily no broken bones on this occasion

Room Tip: Ask for a apartment in the main blocks not seven hundreds

The Stella Hotel looks small on first impression but its much bigger than you think with many blocks of apartments all arranged higgledly piggledly all over the place. We had a great room with a fantastic sea view over the top of the resort. Very neat and clean with daily maid service. Our room was a bit of a climb up a steep hill but was worth it for the view. They also cater for people who are less able too you just need to email them your requirements prior to your arrival. They have some fully accessible rooms too and ramps to most areas. The location is brilliant as its right in the centre of the resort, right on top of a supermarket and next door to the best bakery in Pefkos. We were pleasantly surprised at what we got for our money. Noir only real complaint was the hard beds but you even get used to them eventually. Air con and in room safe are extra. 24 hour reception, plenty of sunbeds and well equipped kitchens

A bit apprehensive before arriving at it was a pitch black coach trip in the mountains and based on reviews my partner was worried about an over friendly hotel lol. However, waking on the first morning to pure sunshine it all fell into place as to how lovely the resort and hotel was! Perfect location to the small t-shaped strip from left to right is plenty of restaurants and bars and yards away down to the beach with a stretch of smaller bars/restaurants. Pefkos Central was Stella's other business (as well as the adjoining supermarket) which came with a discount card and good value for money! We stayed 29 May-06 June and the weather was bang on and quite cool at night with a strong breeze. Found some great places to definitely visit - The Rock Bar, Coralli's Tavern Restaurant (awesome menu and food) and several cocktail bars - the best by a mile was 'Pane di Capo' at the top of the hill before the stretch to the main beach; creamy cocktails to die for!! Not far from the beach ‘Sea View’ for snacks and the famous sunset bar/restaurant ‘Lee Beach’ for quality but pricey, ‘Flyers’ were very slow in serving but a decent meal too (huge frozen beer jugs tho!). Overall a perfect holiday for couples to relax in peace, snack and chill with a drink during the day and a massive choice of decent evening meals, plus music afterwards.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea or pool view and its as simple as that !

Although called the Stella hotel it is infact apartments with 24 reception. We stayed for two weeks from 25 May 2013. Our studio had a great seaview & was spotlessly clean. It appeared to have everything you would need but we didn't eat in at all as the Stella had a good selection of breakfast & bar snacks and there are so many lovely restaurants nearby. The location is perfect, very central with the beach a short walk away. Although on the main street with the taxi rank across the road we were never disturbed by noise. Lovely staff who are very friendly and helpful. There is also well stocked supermarket underneath the apartments should you require anything.

we stayed at the stella from the 5th of june for two weeks.
the apartments are really nice and in a great location.there was always sunbeds around the pool at anytime of the day which was great and how it should be.
we had a studio room which was big enough for two and a nice balcony.we had a great view of the pool and sea.
its a shame there is no effort from the owners to have a bbq night or something to help break the ice with fellow holidaymakers.we found the bar area lacking atmosphere and im sure when it gets busier that will change a bit.we found joy the barlady/receptionist to be a bit cold at times and didnt warm to her.however lots of people return here ever year so its good enough for them.pefkos was lovely but too quiet and the nightlife was a lot quieter than we expected.
i doubt we will hurry back to pefkos and the stella, overall we had a good holiday but a bit too quiet for us.

Room Tip: room 211 had great views.

Just got back from staying in the Stella Hotel. We just want to say what a lovely place it is, we like to sometimes do our own self catering the apartment had all what we needed, but also found that the local eating places were very cheap so tended to eat out quite often,
Stella was very nice, a lovely lady considering she owned the place, her and her family of six all mucked in and nothing was too much for them.
We met people who have been coming back to Stella's for years, I can understand why, because we will be back.
Very safe for children and also most bars and restaurants catered for families, to me which was ideal.if they are happy then you are happy.
Normally we go away the last two weeks in May but due to circumstances we had to go in June, but found it a little too hot.

Room Tip: Block 400 by the pool and sea views or block 200 for studios overlooking pool.
