We stayed 5 nights in the waterfront cabin over Christmas. Overall had a good experience.
The stuff was helpfull and assisted when we wanted to change cabins.
The kids enjoyed the water park and the jumping pillow. The adults enjoyed the clean and pleasant BBQ area.
However, we did not expect such a long drive (25 mns) for food and supplies. The lake was a Bush-walk away from the cabin and very muddy at that area.
Another disappointment was to have our deck surrounded by 3 tents, a campervan and a boat in a very intimidating distance. A little better spacing and spreading could benefit all guests.

Room Tip: The villas at the back of the park have no view and no deck. Better spend your money on waterfront.

Once again the clan gathered for our Family Re-union. What a wonderful weekend we had!
Archery, frisbee golf, swimming, barbeques, animal feeding, quiet walks and lots of family love and bonding. What a great place to relax and feel at home with loved ones that live in every corner of Australia and manage to make it here once a year for our get together,
Friendly staff, clean and tidy, equipment that works and even WIFI if you can sneak into the cafe for an hour or so.
Thank you Marilyn and crew for looking after us once again and we will see you, same time, same place, next year. Raine Munt

Room Tip: Choose a Poolside Cabin. The position is perfect and the layout of the rooms is very family friendly...

Stayed two nights at the Great Aussie Holiday Park with husband and three kids to test run our new camper trailer. On reservation I was able to choose from two sites both near the playground, jumping pillow and pool which was appreciated. We had a great time with the kids moving from the playground to the jumping pillow (which was enjoyed by the whole family!) to the pool throughout the day. A movie was provided on Saturday night which kept the kids entertained again! The amenities were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and present throughout the park throughout the day and evening. When some park goers were too loud at night the staff were able to speak to them in a friendly manner. The view on Lake Hume is amazing and easily accessible . It was great to see the kids make new friends and my husband reacquaint with old friends that had also arrived at the park. We will definitely be back!

As i write this review i am sitting at my powered camp site 50 metres from the edge of Lake Hume. Many years ago we use to come to this park and it always felt as though you were putting the owners out by wanting to give them business.
For the past couple of days the kids have entertained themselves with the jumping pillow, playground, bmx track, flying fox, archery, pool plus much more.
The powered sites are a great size and you are not all over your neighbours area. You can see the effort the owners and staff are putting in. Cant wait to come back when the waterpark and big bike track are finished and when the fish are biting.

Great atmosphere, so much for the children to do with archery, jumping pillow, play gym, inside activities the list is endless! Us adults had fun too, relaxing watching the kids playing tennis ourselves. Took the boat so the kids could do a little fishing on the lake too! Staff are so helpful they even packed away out groceries we ordered online and got delivered! Made things so much easier! We have been twice now in just a few weeks and We will be back again soon!

arriving at 5pm, Mark was very welcoming.....a special on till the end of July $15 a night for a powered site for Seniors...what more could you ask for.....had a bit of rain today and the grass site was really soggy...not managements fault, blame the weather....everybody catered for here, a fabulous emtertainment area for the busy periods, a movie theatre no less as well, wonderful kitchen facilites for campers, and kids well catered for....it is a pleasure to stay here..what a pity the water level is low and no fish to speak of...well recommended, and congratulations to management and the new owners for the foresight to bring new experiences to the park in the coming months.....wish you well.....

Room Tip: As we stayed in a Motorhome....can only say the cabins looked wonderful

We had a short stay here over the weekend. It is a 25min drive from the centre of Albury and a very dark night drive, but in the morning we were pleasantly surprised. Located right on Lake Hume, it consists of caravan/camping and cabin sites. Our cabin was simple, super clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Beds were firm but comfy, a little on the small side, but we're both quote tall. Service was friendly and helpful. Would be great in the summer, pool, kids playground, bmx track, lots of space to run and roam for the kids.

Room Tip: We stayed in Squatters Cabin #92, right near the pool and kids play area, short walk to the lake.

Thank you so much for your review. We think we have the perfect spot for taking the family away for a break, and we're very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. We've got some exciting projects coming up, including the warm water spray park, and the mountain bike track, both of which should be heaps of fun. So we hope to see you again in the warmer months.
Kind Regards, Alison.
