“A must!”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

As a Gaudi fan, this was a 'must do' for me. I wasn't disappointed by this well laid out museum. The interactive commentary is easy to follow and the entire experience was informative and interesting as well as being great value at 7 euros. Absolutely worthy visit even if you are not an avid Gaudi fan.

“must visit this centre first!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Regardless whether you actually want to see the Gaudi museum here at the Gaudi Centre in Reus, or not, one thing is clear - you should come here first, because here you have the tourist info office. There are many brochures, but most useful are the maps - just ask for them. Apart from the map of Reus, we got the map of Tarragona which we visited also. Here they will also explain you what, when, how, etc. Fast and efficient. Many thanks to the city administration for organizing everything in such an efficient way.
A bitter remark not necessarily related to this place - there are many thefts in crowded places (incl. public transportation) and they work in groups, very professionally. Please, please keep all your belonging in your hands, and constantly closely watch your pockets. Yes, zipped pockets and bags seem bulletproof, but these guys do their ugly job very well. :(

“Very interesting and well laid out”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

Trying to combine a little culture with the beach, we spent an hour on a Sunday morning here. None of us were expecting much but it was a very well laid out, interactive and interesting experience. As we were going on to Barcelona, it taught us a great deal about Modernism and Gaudi without effort. Really worth a visit and good value for money.

“An instructive interactive hour”

Good value at €7 including audio and interactive tour over three floors. Worth following it with a walk around the town to see the buildings there.

“Very Interesting”
Reviewed May 13, 2012

The Gaudi Center explains the life of Antoni Gaudi. Gaudi was born in Reus on June 25, 1852. His parents belonged to the working class. However Gaudi through his effort and genius became one of Spain’s most famous architects. He went to work in Barcelona and created many famous buildings and houses there. His most famous work was the Sagrada Familia Church, which is one of the most visited monuments in Spain. In 2010 it was consecrated by Pope Benedict XVI. This center has a space of 1200 square meters to explain the work of Gaudi. There is a 360 degree audiovisual show also. It is the only interpretative center in Spain that explains the work of Gaudi.
