Description: Owner/chef David Etcheverry (formerly of Les Agapes in La Meziere) is joined at Le Saison restaurant in Saint-Gregoire, just north of Rennes, by wife Christine. Perfectly at home together, the pair have created something special a modern French restaurant blessed with integrity and a big heart. Its in a perfect central spot overlooking a park - a fact not missed in the design of Le Saisons airy dining room. The contemporary, rather refined space has a tempting terrace, magnificent on a summers day. Basque-born David Etcheverry explores the seasonal culinary traditions of his adopted country with an infectious enthusiasm. The spirit-lifting smells, joyful tastes and loving presentation of his cooking awaken the gourmands soul in every Le Saison diner.

“Just Great”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Had dinner and then came back on a second night. On both occasions we enjoyed it thoroughly. The menus were moderately creative, balanced and very well executed, and were only outmatched by the ambiance and service.

“Remarkable experience”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

What a lovely hotel and restaurant, it more than lived up to our expectations. The rooms were so modern and functional and the dinner was exquisite. We had a great welcome and could not have been more pleased with our night.

“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

We spent one night here en route to Quimper. It was a wonderful experience. The dinner was superb from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful and delightful. We were welcomed by David Etcheverry himself on arrival at the hotel. He was chatty and friendly. The "extras" he produced were out of this world. Cannot recommend this restaurant (and hotel) highly enough.

“One of the best meals in a long time!”
Reviewed June 13, 2011

We came here based on the high ratings from Trip Advisor (although without speaking french I didn't read what the reviews said) on a weeknight without a reservation. It is a small resturant so I would recommend a reservation although they were able to fit us in on this night without a problem. There were several different fixed dinners as well as al a cart. We all decided to go with a 5 course dinner and one person was able to substitute a different main course. Although the menu was in french only all the staff spoke some english and were more then helpful in explaining what we ordered and what we were eating. The food was excellent and the portions were perfect, each was large enough to sample the flavors of each dish while not being too large. Although I won't get into each dish I imagine that all the food here is excellent. Also the 5-course menu was roughly 60 euro which I would say is an great value for the food. I will be back here in a minute if I am in town again!!
