I booked this hotel for my mom and a friend of her. I have been in Stoupa several times, which is the best place in Greece, but I never stayed at this little hotel on the beach, but I know a lot of people who always talks how good this hotel is.So I booked my mom and her friend for one week in october and they loved it, the location, the owners, the food in the restaurant, everything was perfect, so the next time I go to Stoupa I will staying there myself..

This is a review of the hotel's restaurant and not the hotel (as I am unable to find the restaurant on TripAdvisor).

Ate here with my husband and 2 of our children on four occasions during our August/September 2013 holiday in Kalogria. We were made to feel so welcome by Kostas, Christos (?) his son, Yiannis and the other staff. The restaurant is in a beautiful position on the lovely Kalogria Beach. The house red wine was delicious as was all the food we had on each visit. Service was excellent and so warm and friendly. On quieter evenings Christos and Yiannis chatted to the children about their video games and taught them some Greek words which was lovely. We ate out every night of our two week stay and this was our favourite restaurant in the whole area.

On our last visit we had a wonderful experience watching Rena, Kostas and others from young to old dance to live Greek music. We felt very privileged to be part of it.

This was our third visit to this stretch of coastline and we are definitely going to be returning to this restaurant again on future visits.

We have been to Stoupa now 4 times and was introduced to owners Rena and Kostas by regular visitors to the Kalogria Beach in 2012.. Rena is just the perfect hostess.. She showed us some rooms which are way above the quality of many other Greek hotels we have stayed at.. We chose our room then for 2013.. Apt7 the biggest studio apt.. Very very comfort able and cleaned daily with new bedding twice a week.. The shower room was also faultless! The beach view rooms are only slightly smaller.. Perfect for couples.. If you have kids in tow then go for Apt5.. We have family going there this week! The team (pretty much all family) are also very friendly.. If you choose to eat in their restaurant, as we did several times, you won't be disappointed and if you like fish ask to see what's fresh.. Stunning!! We feel this will be a regular for us.. There's no swimming pool, but access to one, but we didn't use this as the beach and sea where perfect!!. Hope this helps

Room Tip: Apts 5,6,7,8,9 have side view of the beach.. Stunning sun rise in the morning.. The sun sets on the...

This was the second time we have stayed here although we first ate at the restaurant 21 years ago. Rena and Kostas have done a fabulous job in updating and decorating the rooms and I cannot think of a more perfect place for relaxing; we certainly had a wonderful holiday and felt our batteries well and truly re- charged. The welcome given by everyone working at the Kalogria Beach is fantastic and we shall definitely try to visit again next year.

Many thanks to everyone for making our trip this year so brilliant!
Sarah and Roger

Room Tip: We had a room facing the beach this year but we have enjoyed staying in the side rooms too.

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets of the Peloponnese--the idyllic setting, beautifully appointed rooms and exceptional service are reason enough to go, but the value for money is absolutely incredible. The hotel is located on a secluded and calm white, sandy beach which is perfect for travelers with small children. The food at the hotel's taverna is delicious, and there are plenty of other eating and entertainment options in the small town of Stoupa, a mere 5 minute walk away. Rena, the owner, treats everyone like family and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We loved it so much here that we even extended our stay, and are already hoping to return again soon.

Knew of this place from previous visits but had not stayed here before. Looked at the internet site and this was everything bar a pool that one could ask for in a Greek holiday. Rena & Costa make you very welcome, the rooms are very clean and taken care of well by staff. Good breakfast to start the day and then just step off verandah onto the sand & the golden beach (who needs a pool). Sun shades & loungers provided free, with drinks service on the beach.
We arrived late in the evening, which was not a problem and escorted to our room immediately.
Rooms have large showers, aircon, very comfortable beds and the whole area is quiet at night. We did not use the cooking facilities in the room, but are adequate enough. Our departure was late afternoon and although we had to leave our room by 12, we were provided with a place to store our bags and shower before leaving Stoupa.
All in all a very good place to stay if you wish to be away from the main Stoupa beach in the evening, but even then not exactly a long stroll to get back to.
We shall definitely be going again.

Room Tip: Front sea facing rooms get full force of sun in afternoon, but roll down blinds on the balcony are p...
