“A beautifully clean and friendly place to stay and within a stroll to Kalogria Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2014

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our apartment and the standard of fittings etc. George and Maria could not do enough to make our stay memorable.

Being just a couple of minutes from the beautiful Kalogria beach, was an ideal position for our stay.

Stoupa remains unspoilt with no high rise and plenty of excellent restaurants. The resort is quiet and friendly with no noisy bars or night clubs.

The hotel provided a perfect rest for us and we would definitely like to return.

Room Tip: There are several staircase so those who are not too mobile should ask for more accessible rooms. Wi...

We travel often to greece to visit family in the south of the peloponese. We always take a few days to stop at this hotel. We appreciate the cleanliness, the size of the rooms, the layout, the stunning pool, the location (within walking distance of town although smaller kids will need a stroller and beware the midday sun!), the town of stoupa is quaint with a handful of shops and restaurants (at night the road becomes pedestrian only which is great for a quick stroll as it is a very small town), the parking (we arrive, park and dont move the car the few days we r there), proximity to supermarket (remember to bring dish soap as it is not supplied), the kitchenette and mini fridge r great for breakfast and lunches, kalogria beach (although that beach is so tiny that once it fills up, even the sea water gets a slimy surface film from all the lotions and oils, not to mention the water is cooler than the beach in town due to mountain currents that run in). Only advice is try to ask for a room away from the road as it is a main road into stoupa and can be very noisy. Also, if u have kids with strollers, forgo the tiny view of the sea and take a room on the first floor ..you wont have to carry up the stroller and you will be closer to the room. Finally, keep in mind pool closes during afternoon siesta. As we r not pm sleepers, we used to take that opp to go into town and go to the beach there, then come back when the pool was reopened. Best part about this place are the owners. Maria, her brother (and her father) work hard to ensure that u have everything u need, that u r happy and that your stay is perfect! Plus they make a mean frappe! You will not be disappointed!

I have stayed here twice and my parents have stayed here year after year for around 10 years now - it really is one of the BEST places to stay in Stoupa. The host Maria becomes a family friend immediately, and nothing is too much trouble for her and her family who all run the apartments together. The rooms are spotless.......every single square millimetre is polished to perfection and all facilities are in great condition. Plenty of equipment is provided in the kitchenette area, and the apartments are furnished very practically, with chairs, tables, side tables, dressing table etc. All you could wish for is inside your apartment!!
Outside of your living accomodation the rest of the resort follows suite with a stunning pool, terraces, loungers, parasols, bar, lounge area and even a little library with a fantastic selection of books and reading material, so you don't have to fill your case with your own!! The bar serves the most amazing freshly squeezed orange juice - perfect in the morning alongside your first dip in the pool, and I would follow this with a wonderfully greek cold coffee - served in tall glass with ice and lots of froth!!
Overall this truely is a 5 star pick in a village where you would struggle to say a bad word about any premises.........I have stayed in other apartments in stoupa as I can't always afford Aiolos, but with the magic of Stoupa surrounding you I couldn't imagine not being happy on holiday here anyway!! Can't wait to stay here again when I've saved some pennies......

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have beautiful views of the sea.

Came here after reading the reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. The accommodation is pristine and Maria and her brother are amazon hosts. Their English is first class and nothing is too much trouble, ordering takeaways etc. The pool is the largest in Stoupa and has a great smaller pool for children. Throughout the day there are always sun loungers and due to the small nature of the hotel, it's quiet and peaceful. Our room was cleaned often and contained everything we needed. The hotel is a stones throw from Kalogria beach, a great place for families, beach bars and restaurants as well as a gentle slope into the sea. Be prepared for beach tennis, it's a firm favourite of the Greeks!

Room Tip: Room 11 is quiet and has a great sea view,

Stayed here in the beginning of June 2013. It is a wonderful place to stay. The room was quite large, had a large balcony, overviewing the pool. The sea is nearby (Kalogria Beach) and a walk into Stoupa town is just a few hundred meters. Both owners and cleaning staff are very nice people and we got a lot of information from them for our tours around Mani.

Recently got back from a weeks stay in the aiolos apartments 23rd june to 1st july 2013,there was 11 in total with chidren aged 2 4 6 9 and 11 what is there to say other then "perfection". from the moment we got there to the hug and kiss we got leaving, maria and family were amazing hosts always there when needed and such good people to talk to, the rooms were spotless and the pool was always clean and tidy, only con I would say about the aiolos is the lack of self catering equipment ie microwave and toaster, but you do get a 2 stove hob to cook on. we will be definalty returning in 2015, its a bit of a trek to get there with mini bus,3 hour plane journey and 1 1/2 hour bus journey but its well worth it for the aiolos itself and the beach and surrounding areas,
we was abit disappointed with the availability of childrens food but if you want sunday dinners and mcdonalds then chose spain or a more popular area,
the food that is available at the many tavernas is amazing from the pizza, pasta and garlic bread to the greek salad, sword fish and octopus. I personally would recommend giovannis in main stoupa about ten min walk fron the aiolos, perfect food and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and feed well.
all in all was a amazing holiday made better by the aiolos and staff , I wouldn't go anywhere else in stoupa.

Room Tip: I would definaltly go for room 16 in corner and shaded or any other bottom floor room if you have ch...

Just been again for the fifth time. This time we took the family - nine of us in total children ages 11 to 16. Everyone had a wonderful time especially as the children were able to use WIfi

As always it was spotlessly clean with great hosts Maria, George and parents. It is so relaxing and close to a wonderful beach. Despite the weather being a bit dodgy we had fun in the pool and on the beach.

Within 2 minutes walk is the supermarket and many tavernas within 10 minutes walk.

The studios are spacious and well equiped.

Couldn't ask for anything more. We will return again either later this year or definetly next year.

Room Tip: We like to have a pool facing studio
