I was doubting between a 3 and a 4 rating but eventually choose for the 3 rating for the following reasons:
1. If you have a balcony, the view is completely spoiled by a petrol station that is literaly just outside to entrance door of the hotel. So gone are the nice fresh air and the silence as cars and trucks are coming on and off.
2. If you have a balcony, you have to share it with another room. So as we came back from our dinner, we found our neighbours sitting just in front our bedroom window smoking a sigaret.
3. As the hotel does not serve dinner you have to go to town which is just too far away on foot. Not when you go for a walk but for dinner it was too far for us.
The reason why I wanted to give it a 4 rating was the price, the friendlyness of personnel and the room which was very nice and clean.
So overall for me, the hotel is ok for an overnight but not for a longer stay.

Only stayed one night en-route to Italy and the Hotel room was fine for that. Great view of the mountains from our balcony but below us was the road & petrol station. There is no air-con in the room and it was very hot that day. The Wellness Centre & Gym are great if you have time to use them. Free parking is available but it will most likely be across the road. The restaurant was closed and the options in Lermoos are a few kms away. Luckily the Hotel Grieserhof next door could accommodate us.

During our trip to South Tyrol (Bozen area) we had a one night stop at hotel "Lärchenhof". The hotel is located next to the motorway B179 (about 300-500 meters away) and at the north entrance of Lermoos.
We booked the hotel via internet and at the same day based on recommendations at the internet and the hotel was a described.
The hotel itself is a "Garni hotel" - means they only serve breakfast and for dinner we went to the restaurant next door.
Our room was located on the first floor and we had a small kitchen, a bed room with a double bed, a small living room with a sofa, a bench and a table, a bath room with shower and sink, a separate toilet and a balcony faced to the north side.
Everything was clean and comfortable and we had a quiet and good stay.
Breakfast as well was okay for such a hotel. So they served a variety of rolls, ham, cheese and eggs. Coffee and juices were from a machine but okay.
Parking places are for free and either direct behind the hotel or on the other side of the street.
Wifi was also available and for free.

So for a short stay and if you expect a 3*-4* hotel on a good level we really can recommend this hotel. For a longer stay it might be a little bit to far away from the city of Lermoos.

Last thing to now about: directly in front of the hotel you will find a gasoil station and the hotel offers a small camp-/RV-ground for guests (for booking please contact hotel because we stayed in a normal room)

Room tip: Try to get a room in the upper floors and faced to the back of the hotel

We stayed here only one night. Came late in the evening. The interior is very basic and almost Spartan - no frills. The best were the views the next morning. Got great recommendations from the owner for dinner. Breakfast was good, a lot of options.

We stayed at Lärchenhof for our skiing trip. My parents had bad luck with their room as it was too small to even unpack the luggage. My brothers and mine was very big and comfortable however there was no warm water for two days and the bin was not cleared... As described in other reviews one can either have a room next to the main road or the railway line. The breakfast is not even close to a 4 star standard but gym and sauna were quite good. I would not recommend this hotel when you have the choice between this and others but when you are looking for a cheap 4 star hotel you might be just satisfied.
