“Great food in great environment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

The food was excellent. I had the pork carpaccio as a starter And it was delicious. Everything was perfect except the waitresses didnt know anything about wine. She said she only knew if the wine was good or not and could not help us find a different taste. But the wine we got was still good though. A bit expensive but really worth a visit. Good service apart for the wine thing.

Quality !!!! Says it all.
Vine, atmosphere , service and THE FOOD
Visited La Costera one evening mid May, it fullfilled all our expectations.
Unfortunately as coming back a couple of days later they were closed for one week vacation.
If possible try the Crep Vollat with veal, Maginificent ! Also the tuna carpaccio.
Will be back !!

“We saved the best until last!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

We visited La Costera last night to celebrate my husband's birthday and to celebrate our last night of a wonderful 2 week holiday on the Costa Blanca and we were not disappointed! We were immediately given lovely fresh crusty bread and butter and an amuse bouche. we ordered a bottle of Sancerre and shared starter of smoked duck breast beautifully presented and delicious! I had fillet of pork served with gratin dauphinois and vegetables my husband had the monkfish with cepes we finished with a crepe suzette. The whole experience was fantastic, great service and the cooking....well, over the 2 weeks we tried out quite a few of the other restaurants in Altea and bar none this was by far the best! The restaurant is run by a french couple husband is the chef and wife is the warm and welcoming Maitre'D. It was a night to remember and we will certainly be visiting again next time we are in the area!

“A must !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

Highly recommandable restaurant : the food is excellent (I had the beef filet with fries and salad), the service is really friendly and personalized (our kid was offered a whole basket full of toys), the decoration is nice and cosy. If you're in Altea or surroundings, not to be missed !
