The location of El Cranc is quite unique. As close as you can be to the water without getting wet toes. You feel like being 25 years back in time...
We got salad and stuffed squid as starters, ending of with a paella. The food is old school but tasty. There are better Paellas, the rice were a little on the hard side. All in all a nice dinner.

beach front dining can be very hit and miss in this area, so avoid the miss and jsut head for el Cranc, it doenst look like much, like most chirungitos, and menu is simple but generous, good service, perfect location, popular with the locals, very nice, lunch or dinner but dinner not till 8.30 i think.. open mondays. would happily be a regular here.

Hope I am writing about the right restaurant, it was a Chiringuito right on the beach close to the Villa Gadea hotel. The service was ok, but nothing mattered because the setting is so nice, no frills, very informal, but right on the beach, at around 830 pm it just feels like a movie. The food is good, everything is very rustic and down to earth, would love to go back.
