It's a small hotel restaurant on the esplanade in Altea. It has been there for years and years, always the same good quality. Alex and Pepe (the sons) run the place. Sitting on the glazedin terras is a real treat, it feels like sitting above the sea.
Of course they serve paella, but one should try a different rice dish, they serve, dry rice, melosos, caldosos... Al prepared with the same love.and fresh ingredients One of my favourites is arroz con coliflor and boquerones.... (rice with cauliflower and fresh ansjovies.).le They serve a menu also, and quite a few especialidades del pueblo. The clientele is mostly Spanish, they know where to eat good local food..
