Situated in the Old Town near the church is this nice Indian restaurant with very pleasant staff and excellent value menu del dia.
Good choice of dishes to select from and cooked to perfection. Can thoroughly recommend popping in for a curry.

Very nice people and very good food. It was very cheap and way too much. We're certainly going back here! Something different then all the italian restaurants in town.

A new Indian restaurant only opened last week situated in the Old town at the top of the main steps Calle Mayor leading up to the church. Went last Friday night and we were the only couple in the restaurant ( everywhere quiet pre Christmas) but gave us a chance to talk to the owner who had another restaurant in the south Costa Blanca. Food was way above average from the spiced onions-as good as you get in Scotland-extra offered and an excellent fresh mixed pakora and prawn puri to start-both mouthwatering. Curries were both excellent with good quality lamb and chicken. Will be even better in the summer when you will be able to sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the views whilst tucking into a fantastic curry. If you are into Indian food this is well worth a try-We will be back when we visit Altea again next year.

We found this jewel of a place in Altea . It is up at the top of the town near the church.
We had a great Menu del Dia with excellent service and a superb view. We would recommend it and hope to return.

Quality was as we would expect in England - great curry selection. Breads were chapatis rather than naan on the menu but still delicious.
All 5 of us tried different mains and all were thoroughly tasty.
Waiter was happy substitute gulab jamon as a desert from the listed options.
We will visit again.

Thank CousinElmer
