This was our first Club Med experience, and we had an absolutely terrific family holiday. I can now see why people who have experienced Club Med rave about their holidays. Our children said it was their best holiday ever, better than any cruises or better than any other resorts - and that's saying something!. Unlike other holidays there was no push to spend more money, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The kids were so well cared for in Mini Club and Password the my husband and I could enjoy some time without the children - we particularly enjoyed the zen pool, which is an adults only space. Our family appreciated the efforts of the Circus Team (Elliot, Teagan, Elaine) encouraging the children and nervous adults to have a go at trapeze. The circus show in the evening was fabulous.
The food was great, exceptionally well presented, and the head chef went to great lengths to ensure that my coeliac gluten-free family members were well catered for. Some of the monkeys are a little bold, so if you eat outside you need to take care not to leave food unattended because the monkeys will take it. They will also take any lemon or lime garnish on a drink if you leave it by the pool.

We had read that the resort was a little old, and this is true, but it in no way affected our enjoyment of the holiday. For example, we had heard that the air-conditioning in the room wasn't very powerful, so we left it on, even when we went out of the room, and our room was very comfortable.
We were blown away by the way the children were looked after, and considered guests in their own right, with special activities for the children. The kids' evening show with costumes, and the 'foam party' were well organised and great fun.
We chose to do the turtle hatching tour and the turtle egg-laying tour. We enjoyed both of these, but the turtle egg laying had a number of other mini busses from other resorts/ villages attend so it was a bit crowded. Walking along the beach by the resort it is easy to see where adult turtles have come ashore to lay their eggs.
We have already started looking into other Club Med holidays!More
