Stayed at the Peridis Family Resort for one week and have to say it was lovely
We booked flights & hotel separately as we couldn't find a package that offered the accommodation that we liked along with favourable flight times but we were very happy with our choice.

We stayed in a two bed apartment which was in the same building as the reception area. The block is modern bright and clean and check in was quick and simple.
The room had two large twin bedrooms, a family bathroom with shower over the bath and kitchen dining area. It was bright and nicely furnished with good built in wardrobes in both bed rooms along with dressing tables and tv's. The room and hotel was immaculately clean with plenty of towels face cloths and toiletries. You can purchase internet connection for your room for €15 for the week but there is free WIFI around the pool and restaurant. Air conditioning is also an extra €5 per day but they were good units and we definitely needed them! Beds were very comfortable and our room had access to two balconies as we had a corner room but all the rooms appeared to have nice balconies.

The room had a fridge and kitchenette along with tea and coffee making facilities with everything you needed to self cater. There is a supermarket directly behind that was very well stocked.
We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and there was a good selection of food available including eggs, bacon, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruits, juices, pancakes and omelettes. They are pre cooked and kept hot but were lovely !
Lunch is also available and reasonably priced and you can eat in the evening €16 but there is plenty of choice!

The pool area is really nice, the main one is deep and tends to be used by adults but there is another pool just behind that is shallower and suitable for younger children. There was a real mix of people staying there from young to old and they seemed to have thought of everyone's needs. Plenty of sun-beds are available we never struggled to find 3 together. The hotel provides pool towels which can be collected and refreshed daily in the reception area. The restaurant offers a lunch and dinner menu but there are so many lovely restaurants in Kos Town it would be a shame not to try them but they do offer a couple of theme nights which were €16 per person, the food was really nice and there was plenty of choice and we enjoyed the entertainment.
The bar stays open till 1am so it's nice to come back after eating in town and have more drinks.
Special mention has to be for Ali who works in the restaurant and bar. He works tirelessly to make the guests feel special ! He was very helpful and funny and really made our stay special !

There is an adults only area on the first floor of the building with nice day bed style loungers and a jacuzzi but you need to call down using a phone to order drinks from the bar but still a nice quiet area tastefully furnished. There is a gym but only looked through the window and spa which to be honest unless you look for them the don't seem really to push the service. If your room is able you can arrange a late check out for €40 keeping the room till 6pm alternatively there is a really nice shower room you can use.

As for Kos town itself it's an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel into the heart of the old town. There are various routes the scenic one takes you along the front and to the main harbour where the boats are plying for your trade for excursions or the not so scenic but quicker route where you arrive directly in the heart of the main old square where you can sit in one of the many bars or restaurants and people watch. As you wonder away from the square there are lots of smaller streets with shops, bars and more restaurants some of which sit right next to archeological sites !

I would definitely recommend the Peridis Family Resort, it offers its guests of all ages everything they need. It is a well run clean modern hotel with spacious rooms and all the amenities you would need and it's location is within easy access of Kos town and site seeing around the island.

Fantastic Hotel, great food and the staff are super friendly. I visited for the first time in June this year and will 100% be booking again next year. Definitely, a family resort as there is something for everyone. Day & evening entertainment is good. Good standard of cleanliness, rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Kos itself is beautiful and I would definitely recommend going on the 3 islands tour. .....we did not want to leave

Room Tip: Can't fault anything!

This hotel is a complex of buildings with apartments of various sizes. We had a studio with a hot plate and refrigerator. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, but ate out instead.

We are empty-nesters, who chose the hotel because we wanted to be able to swim after busy days at area archeological sites. The adult pool is large and ideal for swimming laps. There's a large children's pool with a large slide, and also a baby pool. There's another, smaller adult pool in a different part of the complex. There are many activities for families: aerobics, games, etc. We didn't take advantage of them, but assume they are popular.

The buffet breakfast was very good. We didn't eat dinner at the Peridis, nor did we use the spa.

Visited this family resort at a last minute option and generally the resort was absolutely fine for a few days.
It is definitely a family resort catering for new parents with babies or slightly older parents with older children. They do try and entertain the kids in the evening and afternoons although as it was just myself and a friend, we did not access or witness this ourselves. The resort has lots of extra activities such as tennis courts, beach volleyball, table tennis, a gym and other things. The two pools are clean and well used by the residents. Our apartment was well situated above the main pool. We also did not take advantage of any of the food dining as we went self catering. There are plenty of good restaurants locally which do great breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

They say they are very near the beach which is slightly untrue. Yes they are near s beach, although it's about 5 metres wide at a push.

You are actually right next to the marina and are about 15 -20 minutes away from the main beaches other side of Kos town. We hired two bikes which cut down our travelling time to the beach we chose called old river beach.

The rooms were cleaned every day and although we didn't access air conditioning which you have to pay extra for, as it was early July we were able to leave our doors open so had a nice breeze blowing through. Our room was supposed to be for 3 people but we could only see two single beds.

Had a lovely time overall and would go back if I had a young family but if I was looking for a better beach, I'd look closer to the old fort side of kos. Just be aware of Bar Street which is where all the young students party until early hours!!

Not one bad thing to say about this hotel. Clean, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good entertainment, free daily classes. Couldn't comment negatively if I tried. Highly recommend for all! All types of guests are welcomed as I came with my mum, however we did not find that kids were a problem, surprisingly calm and relaxing environment for a family resort
