Great holiday. We stayed at the hotel for 1 week and knew it was going to be good when we pulled up on the coach. We checked In quickly and got a great room (facing the pool). The rooms were nice and clean and the shower was really good! Pool was really good - you didn't have to get up early for a bed. They have a tennis court, ping pong, volley ball, and foot ball pitch which surprisingly no one has mentioned yet! They provide the equipment and they're fun if you want to get away from the pool for a while. The one thing we would say is that the cleaners should know if it is your last day so should leave you to check out after 12 and then clean your room as we were disturbed when sleeping with a very long day of waiting for the coach ahead of us. Nevertheless, the rooms were kept very clean. Drinks were good and definitely have their own measurements! I can see where people are coming from with comments about "samesie" food but for a hotel that caters for 500 people it's got to have some limits! Pancakes were awesome :) overall, a great value for money and they really do aim to please.

I stayed here for a week in July with my boyfriend and was not disappointed. The overall design and décor of the hotel is beautiful with bare stone walls and white stone pillars it gives the impression of 5* comfort. The room was modern and clean with maids coming in nearly every day. from our balcony we had views in all directions of the sea, fields and mountains.
The food here was great with a great variety of meat, fish, pasta and veg, along with bread and salad. again, with breakfast there is a good variety of fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries and of course a fry up, along with more continental options of meats and cheeses. Meal times are a help yourself buffet style with very friendly staff who relay the tables lovely.
there is a mini-mart and two bars with plenty of seating space, both around the bars, pools and outside the lobby with cushioned sofas.
A downside for some may be location, however, we found the 2 euro bus ride easy enough of an evening/ day to get into Kos Town with its multitude of restaurants, shops and tavernas. along with a historic castle. However, the beach 30seconds opposite the hotel may be enough entertainment with its scenic views and gentle breeze.
We did the volcano, waterpark and Simply Kos excursions- all of which were good value. The waterpark is not massive and is not the most thrilling i've been to, but it was a good day out nonetheless. Simply Kos was great with a funny tour guide and an opportunity to visit the historical sites and other parts of the island.

Room Tip: rooms next to the restaurant were literally 2 meters away from diners seating, that may be a problem...

Had a fantastic week at Thalassa. Couldn't fault the staff, food & entertainment brilliant value for money. All staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, we went as a party of 5 taking 1 family room (for 3) and a twin (for 2) which were situated very close to each other on the ground floor. The pool, bar & restaurant areas were kept very clean. Great selection of food to keep everyone in the family happy including the fussy eaters, we've all put on weight! too many puddings! Cocktails were to die for, good selection of drinks, non alcoholic too, coffee was the best. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and landscaped gardens under the palms, the sofa beds were the best but you had to make sure you were up early to reserve 1 of 2 - a few more needed me thinks. We all enjoyed the daytime activities, something for everyone, the entertainment trio were great motivators! Only thing we can say was lacking was some nice toilets for use in the evening in the lobby bar - nearest were the pool toilets which were great for in the day but not for when you have you're best clothes and heels on - we tended to go back to our rooms. This was our first experience of all inclusive in Greece, always went self catering before and ate out every evening, must say very impressed and would say that the quality & choice of food was equal to self catering. We hired bikes from Lambi and rode to Tingaki & back one morning (12 mile-ish) - great day really enjoyed it - hardly any traffic on the road, more cyclists. It's also very flat with wide cycle tracks along much of the way, so ideal for all the family & very cheap - we hired 4 bikes for about £15 for the day which included pick up & drop off from the hotel to the bike shop in Lambi . All in all a fantastic holiday really wish we were still there!

Room Tip: Ground floor room facing pool is nice

Stayed here for a week and was very impressed. The hotel is very modern and clean. We had a twin room with a third bed facing the pool area. The restaurant is very organised with a wide variety of food. There is also a pool bar for snacks during the day. The bathroom was quite small but very modern with a walk in shower and white toilet and sink. The cleaners did a very good job in all areas. The location of the hotel is very quiet with a 45 minute to walk into town or you can catch the bus outside the hotel for 2 euros and a five minute journey. The nearest supermarket is a ten minute walk away. The entertainment is there if you want it but is away from the main bar so you can also have a quiet drink. The sea is a few minutes walk just across a quiet road. It is not that big and often stoned but it improves if you walk to the left or right of the hotel. Some great ruins and history in kos town and the island was a lovely place. Would be happy to return.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a sea view room if you can

The staff and entertainment team was amazing, very polite and very friendly always up for a chat.
The food and drinks was very good quality and while the variety wasn't very broad the quality made up for it, the dinning area is also very clean and very organized. We had an ocean view room and the views was amazing, very impressive bathroom & shower, room kept very clean, cleaned everyday apart from one.
Found the whole holiday experience amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Room Tip: Get an ocean view room.

Please read this review:
We stayed at this hotel because our holiday to Egypt was cancelled 16 days before departure, and we should have been on a 5* All Inclusive Cruise.

We needed a holiday booking fast, and we were restricted to departure times and dates as all our tickets to Gatwick had been purchased, and time off work arranged. Our travel agent is a diamond and he recommended this resort and hotel, as his parents had stayed there, and he said it was 5* service at a 3* price tag.

We booked, and to say we were a little apprehensive was an understatement. However we landed at the hotel after a 3 hour delay, and the staff were fabulous, arranged food, and drinks before we checked in so we could relax.

As the days unfolded, it became very evident that the staff are extremely customer orientated and focused on customer satisfaction, they were amazing from the cleaner to the Hotel Manager Emma.

Emma was in the restaurant one evening going from table to table asking if everything was ok, and I mentioned it was a shame there was no spicy alternatives on offer, however the food was lovely and a very varied selection. Emma invited the chef over and he took the challenge to prepare me a spicy meal the following evening, well the next 4 days I was on an adventure of tastes as I challenged him to make them spicier and spicier, until the last evening I was winning, however on our last night the Chef won, I stated they should put it in the restaurant and label it Dynamite!!

We have been all over the world staying in 5* hotels, and I have never experienced the level of customer satisfaction, that this hotels expects from it's staff. It is incredible the customer needs are the highest priority and nothing less than 5* will do.
.
Our room was a family room number 121, which had an internal integral door adjoining our sons room. The rooms were very clean, had comfy beds and the bathroom was very modern although a little small.

Please don't get me wrong, people will complain and be unhappy, however we witnessed an incident where a guest had a mechanical problem in their room, and I was intrigued to see how Emma would rectify the situation. I was amazed at the amount of trouble Emma went to, to arrange a solution, and even further arrange a form of compensation.

I would seriously recommend this hotel as a quiet get away, as it far enough away from Kos, about 5 minutes by taxi or 10 minutes by bus outside the hotel), and still close enough.

The food was lovely, plenty of choices. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from Violeta who served us at the Poolside bar to George the Lounge bar tender who can speak an amazing amount of languages, even a little Welsh now!

Overall a lovely relaxing and peaceful holiday, that we can recommend, so please do not be put off by negative comments as this hotel had been opened only 5 weeks, and they were striving to improve all the time, the level of customer satisfaction was truly amazing.

This is a hidden jewel of a hotel.

Mick and Chel
