The room design everything perfect
Sea is under your feet even in the room
İf they dont give the room where a palm tree stands at view you can find nothing to complain
İt is not comfortable the sunbeds
İt is so in middle and above the sea
Maybe if they have had a beach will be better

Worth the trip to this southern Greek island. The people are terrific..helpful, friendly...and the hotel staff equally so. The restaurant/bar staff are particularly friendly and fun loving. We had a great 3 day stay. Listening to the waves at night when going to sleep was a bonus. The view from the room, even just sitting up on the bed, was of the sea and the coast of Turkey, a mere 30 minute +\-boat ride from the harbour. Bikes are readily available and the town easily provides for biking with lovely wide lanes on the major streets. Lots of archaeological sites to visit. Loved this place!

Spent one night at the hotel prior to sail trip. Clean, and not as loud as i had read thanks to great modern windows and a/c.

Complimentary breakfast buffet on the water was lovely.

Not a full service hotel, but liked the modern design.

Room Tip: The higher up the better

very good hospitality, great design and view! In the center of kos town, Exactly what I was looking for! I recommend it undoubtedly for stylish and affordable accommodation…try also the restaurant for breakfast and dinner next to the sea!

We stayed there two nights in early September. This is a design hotel with a perfect location in Kos Town. The Tourist Info Office, the city bus stop are just a few steps from the hotel. You can walk easily to most of the sights in town.
All the rooms have beautiful views of the sea and the Turkish coast. Going to sleep and waking up with the sound of the waves were the best part of our entire stay in Kos. The breakfast buffet and having breakfast right on the water were also pleasant .
On the other hand, unfotunately our room wasn't clean enough and one of the towels was already used!
This hotel will not be a good choice for those who visit Kos for sea and sun because of the very small sun deck and the beach with pebbles.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors have better views and less noise

This hotel was a good choice even if a bit expensive. Located just 10 minutes away from Kos marina it was easy to reach it once I have arrived by boat from Bodrum.
Rooms are clean and offer a great view over Greek sea and Turkish coast, even from the bathroom.
Breakfast buffet is large and tasty, and you can eat just one meter away from the sea.
In the evening it becomes a bit noisy due to a bar located ground floor but nothing unsustainable.
City center is easily reachable by feet in 10 minutes.

We stayed at the Art Hotel for two nights this week (August 2012). The hotel is right on the water - only a spacious deck and a tiny strip of rock separate it from the Aegean - and the views are spectacular, especially as you get up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. My room had a palm tree growing right in front of it, which only added to the tranquil view. It's slightly less tranquil at night with noise from the patio and the bar, as other posters have noted, so you can't sleep with your balcony door open to the crashing waves, sadly, but each room has a small private balcony so you can hear them all day long if you choose. I had a room on the 3rd floor a few doors to the right of the elevator and the hubbub below was low-level audible with the balcony door closed at night, but not too bad. If you are sensitive, ask for a room farther away from the elevators (and probably towards the port side of the hotel), as the soundproofing is better for the exterior doors than for the hallway doors. The hotel rooms are quite nice - spacious bathrooms and good showers, a/c, tv, etc., nicely designed and with a blue color scheme. All very clean and modern looking, with a ton of lighting options. The only drawback is the beds, which are not very comfortable (thin mattresses) and the pillows, which are atrocious (thin, hard, and lumpy all at the same time somehow). But for the price and the view it's a good find, and the private balconies feel like a nice peaceful retreat after the craziness that is Kos in August (or probably almost any other summer time).
