“....ENCHANTED GARDENS......”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We stayed at the Gaia gardens for 12 nights from the 22nd september till the 4th October. We were out in greece for a family wedding at the blue lagoon hotel just up the road.

We arrived at the hotel at around 10:30pm and the welcome was very plesent and we were provided with sandwiches and drinks... which was very nice.

We arrived with my mother and farther and we were given two rooms with a shared patio which was lovely, the rooms were ample sized and were cleaned everyday with fresh towel.
The gardens around the rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The hotel itself is designed like a castle and the features around the hotel are beautiful.

The pool area was lovely, plenty of sun loungers and back ground music was played which was nice and relaxing. The pool was ample sized and cleaned everyday. On the roof top there was a gym, jaccuzzi and a massage table.

The bar area was plesent, you never had to wait for drinks the bar staff were very efficient, the all inclusive drinks menu was limited although adquate, and there was some lovely seating areas inside and out, the lighting at night was nice.
The resturant area was on the first floor and it had beautiful views at all meal times. The All Inclusive food was the best we have had on our all inclusive holidays with loads of choice at all meal times. During meal times you helped yourself to beer, wines and shoft drinks.

The location of the hotel was good, as it was quiet and relaxed, it was about 5 mins walk to the start of the shops which leads you into kos town about 25 mins stroll from hotel but a nice walk.
The beach was about 5-10mins walk from hotel, which again is a nice stroll.

The hotel had free wifi, it also had laptops and ipads to hire out along with towels and safety deposit boxes and very reasonable rates.

Just outside the hotel there plenty of hire places for bikes, quads, and cars which are all great fun.

We went to turkey on a day trip which is worth a visit as it is cheap over there, we also did the 3 island cruise day trip which was a great day out.

During our stay we had the family wedding to attend to and the hotel were happy for our other family members to come in to the hotel and use the facilities.. My daughter was getting married and we asked if it was ok for our grandaughter to stay with us a couple of nights and they were happy for her to do so, we offered to pay but they didnt want anything for her to stay.

Also on the last day we had a late departure time and we wanted to keep our rooms on for a bit longer, when we went to reception to pay for this the hotel said it was fine for us to keep the rooms on untill we leave and no fee is required... which was a great end to our last day.

We would strongly recommend this hotel and would definatly go back........

i will keep this short and sweet. I spent 10 days in Gaia and i was very impressed with the service. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. nice rooms and very clean!! big plus for me. Food was excellent (breakfast, lunch & dinner) with A LOT to choose from. The hotel grounds were beautiful, big clean pool as well. Beach is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is very close to KOS city if youd like a night out on the town although they play great music with a fully stocked bar by the pool. Many great memories. Thank you Gaia!!

We stayed at the hotel for a week in June and overall had a great stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful and overall the place is clean and well kept. Only downside was the pool wasn't cleaned during our stay, so although it was clean when we arrived, after a week it was full on dead Mosquitos and other bugs floating around. The all inclusive is also a bit of a let down - the food is nice enough but gets a bit dull and repetitive after a few days. The all inclusive alcohol options are poor - only spirits include are ouzo and cognac, plus poor quality wine and beer. That said, there are local spirits available very cheaply down the road, and the hotel seemed to turn a blind eye to us adding them to soft drinks (which is what our rep told us to do when we complained about the all inclusive option). However it wouldn't have taken much for the hotel to provide a better selection.

Overall the rooms were lovely - we were in one of the older rooms, and had a problem with ants coming through a gap in the front door. Our friends were staying in newer rooms, which were lovely so I think we were just unlucky.

For what we paid it was relatively poor value. However there were other people there who'd paid about half the price - if you get a good deal it's definitely a decent place to stay, but isnt worth paying a fortune for when the all inclusive is so basic.

Me and my fiance stayed here for 10days in July and we had an amazing time. The hotel was beautifully maintained inside and out, and the staff was very polite and friendly. The all inclusive package was great, the food and drinks were top notch. We would definitely come back and recommend it.
