This was my second time staying at Alice Springs and I was not disappointed. George, Barbara and Elias were friendly and couldn't do enough for us and were like that with everyone. Their hospitality is why I stayed there again this year and will again.

The hotel is a family run hotel and the reason my friend and I stayed there is that we are 2 young women and we wanted to feel safe and after visiting last year I knew that we would be safe at Alice Springs.

This year we visited Alice Springs privately and not via a tour operator and we saved so much money by doing it this way and when I go Alice again I will definitely go private again.

Missing Alice Springs already and can't wait to go back - a week is definitely not long enough!!!!!

Well what can i say, just arrived back from this Hotel and found that George,Barbarra and Ellios were just as welcoming as before.

Nothing is too much trouble wheather its information on where to eat, hire a car or the best bars, Ellios might not always tell you the cheapest bars, or if you have any medical problems George will always help as on our last day my teenage Daughter was sick and had bad stomache pains so i spoke to George who rung a local Doctor who advised him to go to the Chemist to pick up some medication she prescribed.Within minutes he had returned with the medication and he refused to be compensated for this.
Needless to say it worked and she was well enough to travel home.

Everone we spoke to in the Hotel were very friendly and most leave taliking about returning next year.
We will hope to return next year so give it a try, but let us book first

Spent two weeks in July at the fantastic Alice springs hotel. George, Barbara, Elias and staff cant do enough for you. This family run hotel was clean and welcoming , and they know everyone by their first names from day one.. The food is made to order any time of day, and always fresh and tasty. The gardens and pool area are lovely and relaxing, with plenty on sun beds available! what ever time of day you decide to get up. Its in and ideal location, just 5 minutes from the beach, and 15 minutes from Cos town. There is a supermarket just across the road, and plenty of places to eat all around the hotel.George, Barbara and family are great genuine people (rare now days) who make your holiday extra special.
You cant miss out on Georges Steak night & quiz its a must. All money raised goes to Great Ormond St hospital. So far they have ( PURCHASED TWO SYRINGE PUMPS) which they will show you proof of.( Not like some people would have you believe)
Also Georges Lamb night cant be missed. The Lamb is something else truly scrumptious. Also try Bingo night, if only to see Georges state of the art Bingo machine.
While there it was our anniversary George & Barbara recommended a fabulous restaurant (The Stadium) They also phoned the restaurant un known to us and told them it was our anniversary. The restaurant then surprised us with a cake at the end of our meal.
We have stayed in some 5 star luxury hotels all over the world but never been made to feel so welcome any where else. A huge thank you George, Barbara, Elias, Eli and little George and Barbara their beautiful grand children. Not forgetting the fantastic staff. By the way George I will be back soon with a very large water pistol.

It was our first visit to kos and the Alice Springs Hotel and all i can say is fantastic! George, Barbara and their family are very friendly, making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and so are the staff. The rooms are spaceous and clean with clean towels, bedding and toilet paper provided daily. We had a two bedroom apartment above the bar area and the double glazed balcony doors kept all the noise to a minimum. The hotel location just outside of the main town allows for leisurely walks either along the beach road or the main road. Would recommend Sunset restaurant, Boomerang restaurant and Mama Rosa for fantastic pizza. A fantastic relaxing family friendly holiday just watch out for George and his pranks! :-D

We travelled as 2 families with 4 teenagers between us and had a great holiday at the Alice Springs Hotel. George, Barbara and their family looked after us so well and really ensured we enjoyed our holiday on the Isle of Kos. George was full of useful advice - where to visit, where to get a bargain with car hire, trips etc. All very useful and accurate. We hired a car and saw many places around the island following his advice. The hotel apartment rooms were spotless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who worked there. Ellie behind the bar who served drinks and food was so caring and Mariannes cooking was fab. The theme nights were particularly good fun - the Steak Night and quiz was our favourite with the proceeds going to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
All in all, one of our favourite holidays in 15 years of travelling with Thomson Holidays.

Alice Springs is a family run hotel. George Barbara & their son Eilas (also Ellie behind the bar) are so helpful & friendly. George is a great fun guy who will not let anybody feel left out. He made sure our girls had friends & if any new Children arrived he would make sure they knew the other children.
Quiz night is great fun but not easy ....
Our fav place to eat was at Eucalyptus run by Lucky . He is great makes you feel very welcome. The food is good & not badly priced.
What makes Alice Springs better than any where we have stayed before is the staff. They are all happy & friendly the cleaners were great every day they came in & always had a smile. The beach is great nice sun beds to fall alsleep on. We would go back .
Thanks Alice Springs for making a great holiday & one we will remember for along time.

My family and I have just got back from Alice Springs , and I couldnt of had a better holiday , it was full of relaxing and sunbathing.Surprisingly there were a lot of teenagers there for my sister and I to make friends with, The family there are really amazing too. They really do make you feel like your part of their family and George winds everyone with his humour and mischeif - he's a big laugh !! Nothings too much trouble for his wife - Barbara. I would highly recommend it to everyone ! Hotel was close to the beach and not too far from the town - even in walking distance. One thing I really enjoyed was the bike riding , this was easy to do and the hire shop was across the road. Very Cheap !
I also loved the greek food out there and in the hotel on a Friday night , they had the best Kleftiko lamb EVER!
Breakfast everyday which Barbara got used to , as she remembers everyone's name etc and their usuals of their days at Alice Springs !
oh yeah beware of George with his water bottles ;) sizzling by the pool , all I can say is WATCH OUT :D

I would definatly go back to see the lovely family and hotel again xx
thanks to all at Alice Springss for a wonderful timee !!!
