Description: Alberto Restaurant & Grill is a well known restaurant not only with the tourists but also with the locals too.. Established originally as a fast food grill Albertos built it's reputation over the years and has now opened a beautiful fish restaurant right on the sea front. With beautiful views of the Aegean sea you can dine on a variety of fresh fish and home made quality Greek food. We have an extensive menu full of all the delicious traditional plates as well as some continental dishes including steaks and pasta. We are open from early morning until late in the night and also serve light snacks such as gyros, souvlaki on the grill and burgers... So what ever you fancy we are sure to have it.

I'm a Dutch Guy who has been to Kos 2 times, the first time was in 2011 (3months) and in 2012 ( 3months) so i know the island of Kos quit well now! I would go to Alberto Restaurant almost every day, the food is excellent and the staff is so friendly and kind!

It also delivers 24/7 and you can order by phone!

I would like to say thank you for the Great meals, and I Will try to come back next Year (2013)

We had a wonderfull holiday at Kos, and enjoyed more good meals at the Alberto Restaurant. Both greek food and seafood.
I can absolute recommend you to dine here.
The restaurant is with view to sea and harbour.

Cross ref. with Stephen O'Neill's review. We'd been walking for a while and were feeling uninspired by the tavernas along the Beach. This seemed to have everything traditionally Greek that we were looking for and we were not disappointed! The meze plates were very generous and the local wine very cheap and delicious! We ended up staying quite a while and when they brought another carafe of wine on the house we felt obliged to linger even longer! When we got the bill it was a 'quick pay and run' moment as per famous burger advert - it was so cheap! We left feeling full and very content with our amazing find!

This end of Kos Town (interestingly called a 'beach' area) is the narrow shingle area around from the harbour. Lots of restaurants/bars front onto the street and have either seating terraces or actually beach areas on the other side. We looked at a few, mainly for food. Some looked more up market but most were bars and did not attract. Then we saw Alberto's. Outside entrance not impressive but clean and the terrace seating was absolutely fine. Then we ordered. One moussaka, one greek salad (experimental stuff....) and a mix of appetisers for the 4 of us. For wine..carafe of house rose. Pretty basic stuff..right? Not at all...salad and moussaka were excellent but the appetisers (especially the home made garlic bread) were brilliant in terms of quality and size! Order anything..it was all delicious. The wine was very very good for 4 euros a 1/2 ltr! So the 4 carafe's (last one free...) and food came to just over 50 euro's...absolutely amazing....
