We ate at Christianas relatively late in our holiday and wished we'd found it earlier. On our first visit, we tried the Meze for 2 at 20 euros, which arrived promptly, tasted delicious and was excellent value for money. It is worth walking past the noisy seafront places a few yards further to Christianas, where guests are treated to a Greek hospitality as it used to be: attentive, generous and genuine. It was also nice to sit in a proper taverna and not crowded together on a pavement, which we'd mistakenly done elsewhere on the first night of our holiday! On our second visit to Christianas, we were welcomed like friends, chose several starters instead of main courses (which we could hardly finish as portions were huge) and received an unsolicited discount on our bill! On both occasions we were offered drinks/desserts 'on the house'. It can't be long until Christianas is further up the Trip Advisor ratings, as more people experience such a great place.
