A Castle by the sea, set in a wonderful setting on a lovely island.Well worth a visit for young... and not so young.Easily reached by a short walk from bus station in Kos town.

Low cost to enter and interesting to walk around with good views accross the harbour. There are toilets but thet are very smelly!

Really good value at only 3E pp. No time limit for the visit so we were there for about 2 hours. Some lovely views from the top out to sea and along the coast. Lots of old stone to look at if you're in to that sort of thing.

3 Euro for a walk round a very disappointing ruin. The only positive was the views but to be fair, the review is about the castle and not town views.

Very little effort has been made to authenticate the era. Chip wrappers flying around and weeds everywhere etc. Relics from the past are just strewn around.

Would never recommend to families as there are sheer drops which are not cordoned off and bad steps etc.

1 information board in the whole place.

Knock it down and start again!!!!

Very good, but a bit dodgy if you have limited mobility as there are lots of large steps to climb up and down
