“Good feed!”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

My partner and I visited this restaurant for an early evening meal whilst on holiday. It was our first night in Kos and we were wondering around looking for somewhere to get a decent meal. When we came across this restaurant we were approached by the manager who pointed out some dishes from the menu. We vaguely remembered the name from some good reviews on here so decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. Ordered a mixed kebab grill, the portions were huge and very tasty. Staff friendly and made some good recommendations on places to go on the island. They have sunloungers on the beach directly adjoining restaurant, free for customers, probably get good use during day and after full english breakfast although we didn't get round to trying this. Will be returning to Kos next year with friends and will definately be going back to The sunburnt Arms!

“What a disappointment”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

After reading the reviews on here I seeked out this bar on our last day of the holiday. It had big adverts up about English roast dinner and it wasn't a Sunday. It was like walking into a British pub in spain with loads of English people sitting around drinking, being loud and wearing very little.

“Yanis is a character.! Beachfront restaurant that caters for both the English and Greek tastes”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

This is a fantastic place but it's the atmosphere that Yanis and his wife create that makes us go back every year. Sometimes when you're on holidays you just fancy eating something that tastes like home and the breakfast in the The Sunburnt Arms is the best on the island. We're Irish so the 'full English' is as close to a 'full Irish' as you can get.! We stayed in a 'fancy hotel' and our breakfast was free but we still would miss it every 2nd day just to go and have breakfast in Yanis's place. They also have a great selection of all the traditional Greek dishes which are also delicious.! Highly reccomend this place for the food, location and the FUN.!
