Attended a wedding in this hotel, very disappointed with the overall package! Expecting so much! Firstly the bedrooms need revamped very dated bathroom very old fashioned the only thing going for it was the impressive flat screen. Wedding dinner a lot of people happy with the beef!! Never came around with extra veg ect not impressive. Corridors very noisy at night ! Breakfast not good. I had heard so much about this venue I was expecting to be so impressed! Glad it only cost £78. Service okay but not much to write home about?

Room Tip: As for rooms to the garden of hotel!

Dear Fionapinklady,
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Dunadry. Naturally, we are disappointed that you felt it didn't meet your standard. The Dunadry is an outstanding wedding venue - one of the most popular in Northern Ireland. It is chosen because of its reliability of quality and attention to detail and has a well earned reputation for excellence in providing a truly memorable day for the bridal party and guests.
Thank you for your comments which will of course, be discussed by the Banqueting team and Chefs,

All the best,
Helen

Stayed for a friends wedding. Food and sevrive where superb let down a bit by the room.
Our room was an oven, with a rock hard bed and very dated curtians and bedware. The bed frame had a built in radio/tv remote control c1975 and bathroom fittings need an overhaul. Not the worst i have stayed in, not the best either.

I recently returned from an overnight break at the Dunadry. I have never stayed or eaten at this hotel before so was looking forward to the experience.
Checkin was quick and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming.
Upon entering the room we were very disappointed. Although large and with French doors opening onto a courtyard it was extremely dated and uninspiring. The bed look extremely large but it was actually two single beds joined..I found the bed to be very uncomfortable. The ensuite was a decent size but again very dated with old fashioned fittings. We were expecting a lot more from a 4star hotel.
The bar area had no atmosphere and was more like a waiting area.
We had dinner in the Mill Race Bistro (this was included in our deal). The meal was lovely and so was the breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
I don't think I would rush back to stay overnight purely because of the rooms/bed and the bar area and atmosphere but I would not hesitate to have a meal here again.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Dunadry and thank you for your kind comments regarding the friendly service and the food.
The Hotel is undergoing a significant refurbishment programme which includes new beds and soft furnishings. As Dunadry is a popular choice for so many visitors, we ensure that guest comfort is at the heart of all that we do . I am sorry that you have decided not to return.

Way overpriced, pathetic selection, waiters & waitresses too enthusiastic to lift ur plate. We felt like we weren't good enough although the Hotel itself wasn't much to look at. No communication between staff, we paid for the Carvery upfront yet were followed out to the hall 2 be asked did we pay, mortified. Won't be going back & wldnt recommend.

I stayed at the dunadry hotel for the last two nights with my wife and two young children. There was a spacious car park and I was able to park within 10 metres of the front door. The hotel interior had great character with medieval flags and bespoke furniture. The atmosphere was very relaxed and my family were made to feel very welcome at all times. The restaurant both nights was great and was able to cater for both us and the kids. We made use of the pool both days and spent some time in the internal garden looking at the beautiful river and surroundings.

A great location for a relaxing get away close to belfast.

A reasonable and honest hotel with an relaxed armosphere.
