The Laurels B & B
Ranked #6 of 7 Mohill B&B and Inns
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at The Laurels for a night while at a friends wedding in Lough Rynn Castle. Sean could not have been more welcoming and nice to deal with. He dropped us over to the Castle on arrival which saved us a lot of hassle. Our room was so spacious and comfortable and our breakfast was really tasty. I would definitely recommend the Laurels if anyone is planning a trip to Mohill and would also recommend a drive out to Lough Rynn Castle. Both the grounds and the castle are amazing! Thank you Sean for a lovely stay, if we are ever back in Mohill we will be sure to stay again.

Room Tip: Our room (no. 4) was a lovely bright and spacious room.

My daughter and I stayed two nights on a family history/genealogy research trip and Karen and Sean were wonderful. They pointed us in the right direction to start our research and Sean went out of his way and gave me a lift to the car rental place in town even though everything is in walking distance from the B&B. The B&B is spotless, well-located, quiet, and the breakfasts were huge! Would definitely stay there again.

Mohill is where it is at.....and the Laurels is where you must stay..The Proprietors Seán and Caren
have a knack for making one feel at home. They go out of their way to be helpful. The peace and quiet is a tonic..if only it could be bottled and taken away with one.... and excursions to places of interest and beauty will have you spoiled for choice. And the other guests were pleasure to meet.
Next year my stay will be much longer. God willing and The Devil allowing....and as they say in Mohill ''The Devil isn't such a bad fellow either''......sssssh! just in case he is listening...
Yes! Mohill is where it is at all right. Wish I was there now.
Slán agus beannacht! Doris M Daly.

Room Tip: Try and get The Annex Room especially if you are on a Romantic trip. or honeymoon...

Everything was very tasty. Rooms very clean and include everything you need.. Both nights we had a great sleep, rooms were nice and warm. Enjoyed that the en suite had a bath and a shower. Very nice flat screen tv in the bedroom. We will be back again.
