“"Wedding day in Lough Rynn”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Myself and my husband, daughter, boyfriend and another couple stayed in this amazing B&B. 4 of stayed in the lodge and it was wonderful. We felt that we were the only people around, so peaceful and I really loved the decor, gardens. Dara greeted us with home made cake, tea/coffee on arrival. The rooms were decorated with antique furniture and delph etc. I could have stayed there all day, if were not for the wedding.. our breakfast was served to us at our own table by Dara the next morning, we didn't have to leave the lodge ! (there was fruit etc in the fridge for us too. ( not to mention bottles of water). We will definately be back again. many thanks for making our stay so memorable.

Room Tip: Ask for the lodge if it is available, has sleeping downstairs and upstairs. plenty of room.

We recently stayed with Dara at the unique Brooklawn House. What a treat - wonderful house in a truly lovely setting and such a warm welcome from our hostess, Dara who greeted us with tea, scones and porter cake. The décor is so tasteful with antiques at every turn yet the whole place had such a homely feel and every comfort was provided for guests. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Dara joined us for a tour of the lovely garden - how lucky she is to live in such a wonderful place. Highly recommended.

I am a frequent traveller but this is my first review. I felt compelled to share our wonderful experience at this first class B&B. This is a lovely elegant 18th century cottage in a beautiful setting and just like Dara, the host, it exudes class. The homemade food was plentiful and delicious and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you Dara I hope to see you again in the near future.

Like others, we stayed at Brooklawn while attending a wedding at the local hotel. Dara has such a beautiful house, and was so welcoming. She even called us up to see if we would like to come early and get ready for the wedding as she knew we were coming from Scotland. We were met with a delicious spread of scones, amazing brown bread and tea. The rooms were lovely with every creature comfort and the breakfast in the morning was sensational. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

We stayed in Brooklawm as we were attending a wedding in Loughlinstown Rynn Castle. The room and the surrounding gardens were wonderful. A special mention to our host Dara. Her breakfast was sumptuous with homemade breads. She also gave us a tour of her spectacular gardens.

We will be back.

We stayed at Brooklawn House whilst attending a wedding nearby. There was five of us so Dara, our host, suggested we stay in the cottage along side the B&B so that we would all be housed together. We arranged everything over email. Dara could not have been more accommodating.

After a long trip from London we were greeted with home made scones and soda bread! The accommodation was charming and clean. Breakfast was a banquet brought over by Dara herself each morning. Nothing was too much trouble. When you have two children as part of your party that's a welcome bonus.

We had a wonderful time, great accommodation and a most excellent host. Thank you Dara for making a little bit of Ireland seem like home for 2 days.
