We went there for about a week on ski vacation. The hotel is near perfection: huge and lovely rooms, friendly staff, good food. The pool and sauna are a real plus and make a nice "après-ski" time before going to eat at the restaurant! We will definitely go back. The only thing to know is that you will either have to take the bus or drive 10 minutes to reach the nearest ski resort, unless the small slope next to the hotel is enough. The latter features night skiing from time to time, which I can recommend! A special thanks for the friendliness and flexibility of the staff after my wife had a ski accident, this is very much appreciated. We will recommend the hotel!
Keep an eye out for "Luigi", the quiet and friendly cat roaming the reception area! :)

Superb hotel run by the Silberberger family. We stayed for 7 nights early June in the panoramic suite overlooking the Wildschonau Valley. The room had 2 balconies, the bathroom was impressive, consisting of a bath, double sink and a musical thermal shower. A large and very comfortable bed and a lounge area. The food was gorgeous. Breakfast was continental with a large choice of fesh foods plus egg and bacon. Dinner was 4 course again with a good choice of menu to serve all tastes. Facilities included a swimming pool, infra red room and a sauna/quiet room. The Silberberger family were very friendly and helpful as were the staff making this a very good quality stay in a traditionaly styled hotel with modern facilities and rooms. A car is required to reach the hotel but also to explore the most beautiful scenery. Very impressive all round.

Room tip: If you can book the panorama suite, views are superb.

We (family of 4) stayed at hotel Silberberger for 10 days this summer, and it was a perfect stay. We had a large family room (4 beds in 2 rooms, 2 seperate bathrooms, kitchen, sitting area), with a balcony and a great view over the Wildschönau valley. Due to the hillside location, the hotel has a lot more sunshine then the other buildings lower in the valley.

As a resort hotel, a very good buffet-breakfast (with lots of fresh products) and a 4 course dinner is included in the evening.

Wifi Internet access is available, but at a rather high price, but the owner told us they are rethinking their policy about this.

Room tip: The rooms at the valley side have great views, the rooms at the hill side look out to the forest.

Run by the Silberberger familiy this hotel is outstanding. The location is magical and the entire ambience of the hotel is relaxed and comfortable. Some rooms have cackle offens ( enclosed tiled wood burning stoves that warm you after a day on the piste almost as well as the gluhwine!
The food is typically delicious Austrian cuisine - yum!
Make this hotel one NOT to miss - summer or winter you wont be disappointed.

Room tip: Ask for a cackle offen room.
