We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a long road trip in our rv. We had booked in advance and thought we'd gone way off route then found it by chance as there weren't many signs up but upon arrival found out that it is their first season and were still sorting things out. Very helpful and friendly staff which helped. It was very quiet on the campsite, not many sites taken which was great for us as many previous sites had been very full and cramped. Although it looks like the site is very close to the road, it is in a valley which makes the road noise barely audible - best nights sleep we'd had all our trip. Rv sites themselves very spacious which gives a more relaxed feel to the place. The playground for kids looked good (ours too old) but no other activities that we could see. We were happy there as we were going off site for full days but not sure there's much to hold interest in staying on site. Our teens needed the wireless internet connection and it was a pity that they had to go over to the reception cabin to use it as our rv site was too far. I would recommend this campground to people who want a quiet place to hang out or as a base for visiting surrounding towns.
The review template seems to think there's a hotel here but there isn't!
