A tour of Barcelona is incomplete unless you have seen this well preserved Roman excavation in a suburb called Badalona. Those responsible for the preservation and the current museum have achieved a magnificent display. The museum is not marketed well or widely appreciated. This is compounded in Badalona as there are no street signs for the museum despite the local metro station celebrating Badalona's history with a large Roman text across it's station walls. The museum is suitable for all ages and you can see examples for the origin for our contemporary lifestyle. Telephone the museum ahead of a visit to make sure that all the displays are open (aqua duct etc).
