“State-of-the-art, great design, amazing bathroom”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

The hotel is located in front of the ExpoHall, not very convenient for tourism (taxi downtown costs 16€). Design is unique, and very practical (although not very energy efficient). Nice common areas, sufficient rooms (but in mine there were two narrow beds, hope it's not the case for other rooms). Very good equipment, excellent bathroom, gorgeous shower, bidet. Not very noise-proof, traffic can be heard. Breakfast is lovely, including typical Catalonian things and espresso coffee. Free WiFi. Staff is very young, a bit inexperienced, but kind.

Hotel is well established, staff very friendly and helpful, quite location, 3 min to metro station, value for money. I think is thirteen floor new built hotel with modern design, quality furniture and beautiful atmosphere.

Room Tip: Building is shaped as a circle, so trough the windows you can enjoy sea view, or city, depends on t...

Our trip was a mix of business and holiday; the conference attended was at this hotel. Facilities for the business part were fine. Room was small, no place to put clothes and no coffeemaker. Not enough privacy in the bathroom (glass construction that seemed to be in the room..)
Near to the airport, but about 20 minutes from the city centre (by subway).
Staff is friendly and helpful. Shopping mall 5 minutes walk (Gran Via 2) and an Ikea nextdoor.

Business wise and if you are attending one of the exhibitions, it's a very good choice. For tourism, not so much.

The bedrooms had a nice design but I found it a bit unconfortable to have the toilet spread out in three different divisions. At breakfast, something was always missing, either a fork, sugar or even a napkin.

Despite this, staff was friendly and the hotel has some nice design.

I was staying here on business for an event at the Fira II Gran Via and found it extremely comfortable. All of the staff were very pleasant. Loved the bed. Breakfast was fantastic - smoked salmon to boot! Hope to stay here again. Location was great for the Fira but I guess not great if you want to be in the thick of things downtown.

3 days were not enough, will come back - sure!
Nice trip with an old boat, Hardrock Cafe, Open tour bus, Barca museum and much more.
But be carefull, thieves are at the most public places...

Location of the hotel was not central and there is only bus as a public transportation. If you don't have a car it could be difficult for travelling around. The room was okay. Design of the room is interesting ; bathroom and toliet are almost in the middle of the room constructed with glass. Unfortunately, it was not isolated well. So, if you stay more than one people using the toilet is not very comfortable!!!
