We had lunch at the Oasis during our visit to the Sahara and when evening came, decided to return there for a calm and secure night's stay. We have been overwhelmed by Magalies hospitality and how clean and nice everything was. Within a protection wall, the Oasis offers a relaxing area with outdoor dining under a sunshade and indoor dining in a tent. Preparation of the Moroccan food was excellent, they even serve wine and beer. The vital thing in the desert of course is the water, and this is provided by a fresh water source at the Oasis. Accomodation is in fix nomad tents in the palmeraie with matress and linen and wool covers for the cool desert nights.. There are common hot showers and toilets and also there, everything is very clean. The Oasis is a project of Association Malaika by Dr. Labbas Sbai, the staff consists of volunteers. We enjoyed the bright stars in the night sky while waiting for a delicious tagine and fresh baked bread and then a very good and undisturbed nights sleep. If you like to keep contact with back home during your journey, there is a new mobile phone antenna which covers the area of the Oasis Sacrée. The Chgaga Dunes are nearby for a visit during sunset or sunrise.
